I have been at the Hyatt in Santa Clara four or five times this year, mostly because it is a very big hotel and with the down economy there are good deals available on Hotwire. The rooms are fairly comfortable, and although folks complained about the valet service (it's not a Four Seasons, folks, and I don't use it) I... more

Nice hotel in a great location. Poor staffing, had to wait for assistance with luggage and valet parking only one attendant working. We end up having a security guard valet our car. Did not expect that from a Hyatt Hotel simply because all other Hyatt Hotels we stayed at had adequate staff. Very poor quality service. The Bar staff was... more

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara last night, not too impressed, will not be back. I'm confused why would a hotel in the heart of Silicon Valley with high tech titans such as Yahoo, Google, Cisco System down the street have poor internet service. The T-mobile hot spot was, ok to slow, low bandwidth, took for ever from some... more

I just completed my third stay (and fourth week) at this hotel this year. I like it because it's close to my office, the service is good and always very friendly, the rooms are well-appointed, stylish, comfortable and clean, and it's hyatt-predictability all-around. i find the lack of food options an issue and the 'fresca' restaurant is below average; hoewver,... more

I was attending a conference in the adjacent convention center. The room was OK, bed was comfortable, decor was OK. Room was cleaned OK, but things were forgotten or inaccurate. Little things. A light in the bathroom was burned out. Things listed in the menu didn't exist. TV channels that looked like they worked didn't. It would have been nice... more

Everyone I dealt with at Hyatt from the front desk to the bellhop, were friendly, polite and helpful. It's a level of service that's rare these days. more

Very good hotel. Near to San Jose, SantaClara, Sunnyvale and in front of Great America Park. I came to this hotel for a 4 days business stay and I liked a lot. This is a huge hotel with a lot of rooms and also have many business meeting, so the lobby is always full and loud. more

The rooms were really large, like American style and very comfortable. The service was excellent. The lobby, as well as eating restaurants were open, with excellent ambiance and the staff extremely cooperative and polite. Five cheers for hotels like that! more

I stayed here for a week. The first night there was a loud wedding in one of the ballrooms that shook me awake all night with the bass. The next nights were filled with slamming doors as college or high school kids were staying there. They ran up and down the halls all night and security said they were gone... more

Top notch staff from the bellman to the house keeping staff. Rooms were spacious and comfy. The fridge in the room was an added bonus. Dining was quite expensive but tasty. The bed was super comfy and the big screen an added bonus. If you are here on business - rent a car!!! more
