If you are on a business trip in valley, want to be near to malls, entertainment spots like Great America, Levi's stadium and or or business, this place offers it all. Carpet could be more neat and update....

I recently stayed here for a weekend event. They are overpriced and the rooms are not that great. The beds are uncomfortable and the shower in my room was clogged. The shower did not drain! The best thing about this hotel is the convenience to the convention center and the location.

Business visit just pre Christmas for 4 nights. Booked Club King, which is what I got. Platinum got me an "upgrade" to a room with a balcony, but it threw it down with rain every day so that didn't feel like much of an award! Big public areas, bar OK. Gym functional and very busy early (5-6am). No events on... More

Got a room at a very reduced price (~$100) -- paid a little extra ($12) to be upgraded to a higher floor, but even on the 11th floor, there was a surprising amount of traffic noise from the street below (Great America Parkway) -- presumably the other side of the hotel, which I believe faces parking lots for the new... For the first time in over 20 years, I had received a noise complaint from a neighbor. We chat'd for a bit which as usual which was super quiet. The neighbors filed a noise complaint while we were showering. Security asked us to lower down our voices which I doubt the security even heard from the door. To make things... More

I stayed here for 4 nights - the most redeeming factors of the hotel are the location and free parking. With Santa Clara as a home base I was easily able to travel to San Jose, Mountain View, Palo Alto and Monterrey and always seemed to be going against traffic! The location is also super close to SJC for those... More

I come to Santa Clara twice a month for work (at my own expense). The Hyatt Regency is right across the street from my office, so would be my first choice if I could afford it. Occasionally I have seen very good prices for their rooms on the booking web sites, so I've stayed there maybe four times in the... More

This was the last hotel on our roadtrip! Location was good; it was easy to drive to the redwood forests and to San Francisco. The room was quite old. It was not so comfortable espesially the bathroom. My husband told me though that this Hyatt is probably the best hotel in that area. He has been traveling a lot in... More

We opted for this hotel because of its proximity to Levi's Stadium, and it was very handy for a college bowl game there, although a bit on the expensive side for the San Jose market. Breakfast was also pricey ($80 for 3 of us!) but hot and predictably pleasant. We appreciated that parking was included with the room. Inexplicably, wi-fi... More

This is a good hotel, fabulously placed, with great facilities fit for a 5 star. The staff in this hotel are very helpful and well mannered. However, decor wise, Hyatt should learn from their own properties in other parts of the world. The decor in the lobby, corridors and even the rooms are old and boxy. The carpets and soft... More
