We stayed overnight at the Coast Village Inn in Montecito for a quick getaway to visit with friends from Santa Diego. The upstairs room overlooking the ocean was clean and cozy. The room are adequate, but certainly not spacious by any means and the adjoining bathroom lacked counter space and could only accommodate one person at a time as it... More

We (2 adutls & 2 kids) stayed here for 1 night. We had a room (#19?) with a convertible sofa and a Queen bed. Sleeping on the sofa was fine for us as we're not picky, but it may not be good enough for people looking for a harder mattress. The room was very nice, located right by the pool... More

The Montecito Inn is a hidden gem and I confess a divine surprise in the heart of Montecito. The room, elegantly appointed, exuded character and style usually exclusive to a 5 star hotel. The queen bed and sofa sleeper both had high quality, major compfy mattresses and in inordinate amount of room for my son and me. The room did... More

We spent two nights here. We had an upstairs unit on the back side of the hotel. This was great, as Coast Village road runs parallel to Hwy 101, so the front side has freeway noise all the time. The room was clean and quiet, but as I said in the title, the rooms are beginning to need a renovation.... More

This hotel is a great value for the area! The service is outstanding and the staff are very friendly. We traveled with our 13 year old son so We reserved the Queen suite with a sofa sleeper. It was perfect for our family. I loved the vouchers to Jeanine's Bakery. The food is great and you may run into movie... More

We stayed one night at this hotel, and everything was nice. The hotel is a little bit far from the beach, but there are restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Nice neighborhood, very calm. The bathroom is very small, the bedroom size is comfortable. There is no breakfast, but you receive a US$ 5,00 voucher to use in a bakery near... More

Came in to the Santa Barbara 1 day earlier than expected and scrambled for a place to stay on the fly. I was totally surprised as to what $140 bought. It wasn't because it was some fancy hotel located in a great area, it was a very decent hotel located in a very nice area. The rooms were clean and... More

The room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The weather was hot and humid and there is no A/C (it's a beach city after all) so it was necessary to keep the windows open so privacy was compromised. I was afraid it was going to be noisy, and it was until about 10 pm when everything... More

Very noisy all night party going outside. No one in the office to get them to stop. Yelling, doors slamming, laughing. It's now 1 am and still going strong outside our windows. We have to be up early for a workshop and this is very unsatisfactory.

We loved this place! Rooms are small, but cozy. Service was great and all staff were super attentive to our needs. Only downside was a low pressure shower head, which still does not change our rating. A good stay and only a few minutes from downtown SB.
