Came in to the Santa Barbara 1 day earlier than expected and scrambled for a place to stay on the fly. I was totally surprised as to what $140 bought. It wasn't because it was some fancy hotel located in a great area, it was a very decent hotel located in a very nice area. The rooms were clean and... More

The room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The weather was hot and humid and there is no A/C (it's a beach city after all) so it was necessary to keep the windows open so privacy was compromised. I was afraid it was going to be noisy, and it was until about 10 pm when everything... More

Very noisy all night party going outside. No one in the office to get them to stop. Yelling, doors slamming, laughing. It's now 1 am and still going strong outside our windows. We have to be up early for a workshop and this is very unsatisfactory.

We loved this place! Rooms are small, but cozy. Service was great and all staff were super attentive to our needs. Only downside was a low pressure shower head, which still does not change our rating. A good stay and only a few minutes from downtown SB.

We stayed here for a wedding at the really expensive Biltmore which was just around the corner. Rooms slightly small and not much privacy as people walk past your window on the top level rooms. Also quite noisy as walls very Jin. That said the rooms are clean, pool area is great and the little cafe down the road Jeannies... More

So so pleased with this gem in Montecito. My favorite amenity was cruiser bikes available for rent during the day FOR FREE! Fantastic and central location for a reception at the Four Seasons Biltmore and wedding at San Ysidro ranch. Walls are a bit thin and would be great to have access to a laundry machine, but those little things... More

It was inexpensive, but it was still a tiny room with no a /c. The area was kind of business like, but a few restaurants close by and a quick walk to the beach. Unremarkable is probably the best word.

The Coast Village Inn is a very clean and perfectly located hotel in Montecito. Santa Barbara is a quick 5 minute drive to state street. Montecito has many very good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and there is a Von's shopping center again within walking distance with many great shops. I really like the Montecito area. The one... More

There are only three hotels in Montecito proper. The Biltmore is so expensive it's not even on my radar. That leaves Montecito Inn and The Coast Village Inn. Both I believe are owned by same people and are a block from each other. I have stayed in both. Coast village is the lesser expensive. It is old, as is Montecito... More

I really want to be able to return to this awesome motel and not have to compete with other people or higher prices, but it was such a surprising and wonderful discovery that I am morally obligated to share. This lovely hotel was a shockingly good value in Montecito. The hotel is located right in the center of town and... More
