Nice motel style place within walking distance of Santa Barbara centre. Lovely decor inside and good breakfast included as was wifi. Beds comfortable and good blackout curtains. It's not a main road so went quiet at night.would recommend as really good value but still with a bit of class

Lovely inn close to the water in Santa Barbara. Would highly recommend as they have clean, attractive rooms, good breakfast with outdoor seating, and good prices. Picturesque setting, with a pool for the warmer summer days.

We had a very pleasant stay over Thanksgiving weekend, staff was friendly & helpful, location was convenient and rooms were clean and nice. There was water and champagne awaiting our arrival which was a nice touch

I was here for a Thanksgiving weekend getaway. This hotel is pretty and clean. The hotelier Peter was very helpful. I loved the complimentary Wycliff champagne and the wine happy hour. They serve red and white wine with cheese, crackers, grapes, and nuts. The breakfast is simple, yet delicious..

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite since we were staying a week. They had a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room. Each night they had wine, cheese, and cookies in the lobby, although the wine was nothing to write home about, especially after tasting all the terrific wines of the region. I suggest taking a... Stayed here for 3 nights and were initially given a ground floor room to the very side of the motel building. Room was very dark and gloomy so requested another room as we were staying for 3 nights. We secured a room further down which was more suitable and little lighter. Found the room quite small and especially the bathroom.... More

We made a reservation for a short stay after a cruise. Upon arrival we found we were upgraded to a suite. What a wonderful surprise. It was great to have a kitchen. The bed was comfortable; the towels and toiletries were spa quality. I'd love to be able to get the hand soap to use at home. The staff was... More

I'm a little surprised by some of the average reviews. With good research of where you are staying this delightful little hotel is exactly as they describe on the websites. No more and no less. Under those circumstances, and comparing it with other SB hotels where we have stayed, I would say the price is very reasonable. A few things... More

We came to Santa Barbara without booking and the whole city was booked. Then luckily we have found Lavender Inn, although a bit more expensive than our budget was. Rooms were very clean and smelled very nice from lavenders. Also bathroom was perfectly clean and smelling great. Room was cozy and comfortable. I was very pleased by breakfast, which consisted... For the price, the Lavender Inn is an unexceptional Motel at best. The swimming pool and front of the grounds feel like they're right on the busy street. The rooms were clean, but needed updating. The food and complimentary wine were worth the price. Wouldn't stay here again for the price. The best part of this place is that its... More
