I agree that the bathrooms are a wee bit tight. They remind me of many New York and European hotels, however, I would not low star this place because of that fact. VRI is not the Hyatt. It is a quaint and stunning place with beautiful artwork and unique rooms. You won't see glistening chrome fixtures, but it's all a... More

We stayed one night in this beautiful little under-played gem, close to the pier, close to the main street for restaurants etc. The style of this rustic hotel is classy, the details elegant, theservice adequate. We liked it, we like to go back

I LOVED this inn. It's almost right across from the boardwalk. It has a pool and hot spa. We were given the best room (in my opinion, as the pool and spa are right outside & the bath/shower has a big window with a little garden) for a special rate because it was my birthday! Staff are lovely. There is... More

Location was excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Inn was dated and musty. Our room was adequate and nicely furnished but not what I'd expected based on the website description. Bathroom was cramped and showering was quite unpleasant. In a wine producing region, the complimentary wines at 5 were cheap Australian brand. Would not stay at this property again.

I have to give credit to the house staff at Villa Rosa. It's clean. Drinks and nibbles at 5:00 are fine. Location is near the beach, and walking distance to reasonable shopping. (Are all Macy's tired?) Breakfast is satisfactory. But the inn is tired, the carpets are musty, the showers are uncomfortably small and you really don't want to stay... More

The best part about this property is the proximity to the beach. That's it. Staff was below average. Unhelpful and not very knowledgeable or accommodating. Breakfast was blah. About what you'd expect from a roadside, interstate motel. Breakfast person was in slow motion...probably would have rather been any place but at work. The place is cluttered and needs a deep... I don't usually like to give negative reviews on anything, but our over night stay was terrible (and that's being kind). I'm not sure what people mean by cute or quaint but this hotel is long over due for a remodel and a serious deep cleaning. There were so many cobwebs and so much dust in out room. Furniture is... 1. Staffs are not friendly, and never smile. Staffs are never explain what they provide until you ask. If you ask some questions, they will show you his unpleasant face. 2. No enough parking space. - wish your luck !! 3. The buildings are old and so the bathroom is inconvenient and uncomfortable. There are no hangers for your towels... More

If you've ever been anywhere in Spain, Greece, or Italy and staid at local hotels, then expect to get the same type of accommodations here. it's not a 5 star, but it's very comfortable, clean, staff is friendly and walking disrance to the beach and restaurants.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while I participated in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. We stayed Friday-Sunday and had a very pleasant experience. Here are some of the highlights: 1. Wine and Cheese- it says they do this when you check the place out, but they really put out a decent spread- fruit, vegetables, salami (yum) and an... More
