My husband and I were in town for a wedding for 1 night over Labor day weekend. All the other hotels were outrageously priced! Over $200 for most, even the motel 6. I booked this one because it was only $100. This hotel is cheap and you will get what you pay for. It is not really close to the... more

Stayed here two nights. Within days of arriving home experiencing slight itching that progressively got worse. I needed to seek medical attention as my breathing became affected due to an allergice reaction to the scabies and the itching became intense. Obviously unsanitary, contaminated sheets and/or towels. The doctor asked me if I had stayed at a motel/hotel within the past... more

I stayed at his very centrally located hotel recently for 3 days. I had read some bad reviews online prior to my stay but found Management and employees just great and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had booked the 2 bedroom family unit which was really ideal for what we neede.had a T.V in both rooms too. more

The staff is incompetent, the manager is never around, and the room is filthy. The bedding was scratchy and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The door on the bathroom didn't close properly, therefore it couldn't be locked. It was far from the shops of Santa Barbara. I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. more

While we were having our continental breakfast, we saw the housekeeper roll up a rug, wipe the floor, handle the silverware (which fell on the floor), put the silverware back into a container, and then pat it down with her hand and put it out to be used...all while wearing the same dirty rubber gloves! Also, some of the towels... more

If you don't mind the mold in the bathrooms. I asked for another room but they are all the same moldy. The toilet don't work you have to hold them down to flush. The carpet is disgusting. If you stay there taking your own blankets. The main cover was as black as the bottom of my shoes. In our Showers... more

I stayed at Sandpiper the first week in June and I really enjoyed my stay. From the moment my fiance and I arrived, I had only good experiences at the hotel. The front desk people were more than helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit to Santa Barbara. When we needed a taxi to head... more

For a couple and three older teens, the two bed-room suite which is really two rooms, with a bath & shower combination was a comfortable accomodation. When traveling with teens, it is great to have a separate room with two double beds for them. We traveled to a soccer tournament at the University of Santa Barbara, so this motel was... more
