We came to Santa Barbara to tour the college for my daughter! I was pleasantly surprised how nice the rooms were! We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice! My husband and I had our privacy which was great! The pool was very relaxing and the breakfast saved us alot of money! Cute ,quaint little place! We would... More

When we arrived and were given the keys to our room, we noticed the door to our room was wide open. We thought the cleaners were still in cleaning, but there was no one in the room, which we thought was odd. When we closed the door, we had a horrible cleaning odor. After a day, we realized the cleaning... More

Stayed in a double room with two beds. Beds seemed larger than a standard queen which was nice! They were also super comfortable! Location was great, right on State street, close enough to be near the hot spots but far enough away that it was quiet. Great places to eat within walking distance. Room was clean, free wifi, and also... More

We stayed at the Sandpiper Lodge on the first leg of our 2 week road trip. The drive up from Santa Monica took under 2 hours and before we knew it we were driving through the centre of Santa Barbara which, in itself, is a gorgeous Spanish influenced seaside town. The Sandpiper Lodge is located on State Street which is... More

Location is good if you are happy to drive into town ( we were)staff at reception friendly, hotel dated and bathrooms were in need of refit in particular. Small gym and outdoor pool, very little noise at night as mostly families

We loved the Sandpiper Lodge. We ahead a clean comfortable room and the grounds were lovely. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helped us out when we needed a large bag of ice for some medication.we would recommend the Sandpiper lLodge to others and plan to stay here the next time we are in the area.

We booked 3 rooms for 1 night and 1 room for 2 nights for a basketball tourney close by. All was fine, the woman at check in was darling, the rooms were clean (a little musty smelling), this is like a motor lodge from the 70's, but updated with a decent pool and spa also continental breakfast. The wifi is... More

My husband and I stayed here last night for the first time. We are both very impressed, and will book here again in the future. Our room was clean, updated with granite counter and table tops, fashionable paint colors, flat screen TV. The king-size bed had a top quality, just-right mattress that provided a completely rested night's sleep. Breakfast was... More

Needed a nice affordable place to stay while visiting from Chattanooga. The place is adorably dated, yet nice and clean. We ended up staying longer than expected on the cheap! There are some nice places to eat within walking distance, and a market just across the street.
