My friend and I had a GREAT time staying at the Orange Tree Hotel! I regret not remembering one of the clerks name, but he was extremely friendly and helpful, showing us a map of Downtown Santa Barbara right off the bat, explaining the must-sees & excellent places to eat. The rooms were cozy & clean. The location of the... More

We spent only one night at the Orange Tree Inn. It was a good experience. It is close to main restaurants, cafes and other nice attractions in Santa Barbara Downtown. The bathroom was nice and clean, with a good shower. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The wifi was not great, but it worked. They also have... More

Easy access to the 101 freeway. We walked to the Mission and downtown at night. We drove to the wharf and beach, but it's walkable as well. Very clean and comfortable. Order hotel without many amenities, but recently remodeled. Great value for the price. Not a fancy hotel, but a good basic place.

Very noisy room. Heated pool not well heated & no hot water in bathroom. We told the front desk & he said he'd check the boiler. Two phone calls more & we were finally told we could use another room for a shower and be given a small discount. No discount was ever given and we have been continually lied... More

We stayed here as we based through Santa barbara on a 4 week road trip. In a decent location with good parking. Wifi was hit and miss. Very clean room comfy bed felt very safe. Eat at a place just down the road as I don't think it sold food? Would recommend for an overnight / few days stay. Didn't... More

The Orange Tree Inn is a simple motel in a nice location in Santa Barbara, a very expensive city in which to stay. We got an excellent rate online and found the motel to be fine for our wants. It is not a luxury motel and does not have breakfast nor does it have good WIFI. Our room was very... More

We stayed here for a night in early Feb and when we arrived in our room, at first glance, it looked fine. The first thing I needed to do was to work on the laptop and needed a small app before I started. I couldn't get the laptop or the iPad to even see the network let alone connect to... More

A great little hotel/inn/motel! We stopped for one night on our PCH trip and I cannot fault it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and far larger than we had expected, we had a lovely Terrace to sit out on and the pool was great. Would definitely recommend and return!

This place was the most quiet of all the places we stayed on our trip. Very comfortable bedding, unique room, good value. Unimpressed by the staff at this place but I guess you can't have it all. Would definitely recommend and/or stay again.
