Arrived here for a non tourist event. Was given a room with a loud and buzzing fridge and next to elevator. Made a phone call to front desk. Sincere person said they would move us as soon possible the next day and would discount $ from first night stay for the fridge being so noisy. One short block walk from... More

Stayed here on business and it's a great little place with friendly staff and an added bonus of a pool. We didn't have the continental breakfast as wanted to eat out in the mornings, and evenings. Great location and not to far to walk into a great town.

Nice little boutique hotel off the beaten path. Within walking distance to the harbor, beaches and a zillion restaurants. Has a very clean pool. Very friendly attentive staff. Decent spread for breakfast considering the tiny space and you can sit outside or inside. Clean rooms. The one drawback was the fluffy comforter was too hot. We had the AC pretty... More

Stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay the same way as we did some years ago. We had a fine service and a nice room including a quiet night. The breakfast room which is a part of the reception is a little too small but very cosy and the breakfast is fine with several fresh baked things to... More

We stayed here for one night on July 9, 2015. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the pier and a restaurant that we wanted to try (Toma). The location was perfect. We had time for a nice walk to the pier before our early restaurant reservation. The room was clean and spacious and had windows you could open... More

Good hotel for a couple of nights stay, large rooms with all the facilities you need. The breakfast was an added bonus and the pool was great to cool down in after a days shopping! The only down side was the WIFI kept dropping Plenty of parking and about 10 mins walk to all the restaurants and shopping that Santa... More

This hotel was okay, but the beds were really firm. The pool and hot tub was pretty nice. I got to relax before going back into the rooms which I do not really like the setup. The entrance is going to welcome you to a sink, which is awkward in my opinion. Overall, okay hotel, I just would recommend this... More

People might say to me:"for the price what did you expect?" True... this place was cheaper than some of the other places in the area. But there are things they need to improve. The shelves on the night stands and TV stand and AC unit had dust caked on very thick, they were the dirtiest shelves I have seen in... More

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend and absolutely loved it! This charming hotel is clean, comfortable, and located super close to the beach, a bunch of great places to eat, and cool little shops. The service is excellent, and we really enjoyed the continental breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel!

I recently spent two nights at this hotel with my daughter. I did A LOT of on-line research before actually making a reservation. Santa Barbara is loaded with expensive lodging options, so trying to find a reasonably priced hotel that also had good reviews was a bit challenging. Overall, I think Mason Beach Inn has a lot going for it.... More
