I stayed here with another friend for 4 nights. Overall, I would not return. The room itself looks nice, the bed is better than some, however the three small lumpy pillows (1/2 size of a normal pillow) are not so good. When I asked for new ones in the evening, the Front Desk said well, try in the morning as... More

RogerVegas, Thank you for recognizing several positive features of our wondeful Santa Barbara Hotel. We regret needing to relocate your friends, but when emergencies occur sometimes inconvenience is unavoidable. We have an excellent Wi-Fi system, and our free Showtime is found on channel 2. Our in-room ammenities are well received by our guests and we also regret that they did... More

Kind of a throwback to upscale stays of bygone days. The pool area and surroundings are the best part. Actual lemon trees on the ground, no false advertising there. Colours are contemporary, although room painted very dark (chocolate brown) - not what you'd expect in sunny California. Thankful for the balcony patio for some brightness. We had some problems with... More

My husband and I were on a road trip from San Francisco to San Diego and needed a place to stay for the night. After a full day's travel I consulted (good old) TripAdvisor and saw that the reviews of the Lemon Tree looked favourable, so decided to give it a try. Wow what a pleasant surprise we had! Everything... More

I've stayed in this hotel numerous times and am never disappointed. The hotel is built around a big pool with beautiful landscaping. While relaxing by the pool with that lovely Santa Barbara breeze, I feel like I'm a million miles away!! The prices are reasonable (for Santa Barbara!) and the hotel staff very pleasant. The hotel is located well for... More

Great hotel, great value and incredibly comfortable bed! We originally booked separate nights on booking.com as we wanted to stay longer and they allowed us to stay in the same room as it was the only King room available in the hotel. They staff were lovely, the room was immaculate and the pool was great and quiet. The restaurant next... More

Family and friends came to this Inn on a recommendation and we were all very satisfied with our overnight stay. Rooms were available ahead of normal check-in because we needed to change for the wedding, which was held in downtown Santa Barbara. The staff was very helpful in directions to that location even computer print-outs and where we could find... More

We stayed here for two nights on a week long trip through different parts of California and we not expecting much, to be honest. To say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet and clean. The food at the restaurant was very good. The only thing we were slightly unhappy about... More

This was our second visit to this nice little hidden gem. Once again we are very happy with our stay and accomodations. Our room was very spacious and clean. We really enjoyed relaxing around the pool and having cocktails at the bar. And the food was outstanding once again too!! Looking forward to many more weekend gettaways here.

Cute Inn. Large spacious rooms with modern decor. Seems like it was renovated recently. Beds are very comfortable. Tropical pool area with lemon trees all around the inn. We were on the second floor and had a nice blacony that overlooked the pool and you can see the mountains in the background.
