room service horrendous had to wait 45 minutes in parking lot at 300 for maid to finish. barely any towels, lamp doesn't work although it sits there on carpet at an angle that we worried would fall down. fan in bathroo0m broken. ice service minimal. blow-dryers very loud yet blow no air. very badly maintained.

We regret and understand the frustration having to wait for a room. Our Check-in and Greeting process is normally a smooth trouble-free experience. All of our 96 rooms are Air Conditioned, the bathroom fan mentioned here has been located and repaired. We understand a bad start to a stay, or an unforeseen mechanical issue can sour any stay, so our... More

My wife and I just got back from a 4 day Santa Barbara "anniversary celebration". After a lot of research, I picked Lemontree as our place to stay. From the warm and efficient desk service, to the very clean attractive room, to the patio and large saline pool and spa, the Crocodile restaurant... everything was more than we expected. There... While visiting family in the LA area, my boyfriend and I had to leave a Motel 6 in the middle of the night when we found blood on the sheets, so we were forced to seek a room elsewhere. Thankfully, the concierge at Orange Tree Inn (Lemon's sister hotel down the street) was kind enough to call and secure a... More

This was a very comfortable place to stay. The room was clean and tidy. Smelled a bit too much Pine Sol and was a little cramped. But the balcony was a nice perk and the view of the pool is very pretty. We booked at a good time and got a discounted rate (under $150) but I don't know if... More

Kudos to the Lemon Tree for showing that some hotels still understand they are in the hospitality business. From our initial entrance into the lobby when we were greeted by a friendly smiling Obi to our departure where we were thanked and informed we were wonderful guests welcome back anytime, this was a truly first rate experience. Everything was effortless.... More

We booked this hotel last minute and thought we would have a decent stay. The outside of the motel, the lobby, and the pool area all looked very nice. Unfortunately, any semblance of "nice" ended once we set foot inside our rooms. Not only did the rooms look extremely dated and dingy, they were filthy. There were stains on the... More

We stayed at the Lemon Tree Inn for a couple of nights and found it ok. There is a nice and sizeable pool set at the centre of the complex and the staff are friendly. Location-wise it is great - minutes from the 101 (Las Positas exit) and a short drive (10 mins) from the nice part of State St.... More

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and we haven't been impressed by our stay. TV in the room had a lot of channels missing, the wifi wasn't working at all in the room and the walls are very thin so we got woken up at 2am when neighbours came back to theirs. Location wise is ok if you have... More

Recently, my sister stayed and had a ground floor room so we could sit out on the patio while our older children enjoyed the pool. There is also a great bar/restaurant with indoor or outdoor seating that has ice cold beer and really good steaks. Sometimes my husband and I go to the restaurant even when we don't have family... Rooms have been renovated, and are bright and well furnished. Our room on the second floor had a balcony with a small table and chairs with a view of the pool area. A good place to stay in Santa Barbara if you don't care to be in the busy part of State street or close to the water front.
