The service was terrible - the dining room was closed without warning, the rooms are way overpriced, but most importantly, the service was terrible. We left a photo in our room and the manager refused to return it to us by mail, even if we sent a self-addressed stamped envelope, instead requiring that we spend $40 to arrange a FedEx... more

Wanting a romantic getaway for the weekend, we decided to head for the coast. We were definite on the fact that we wanted a jacuzzi suite, and since this hotel advertised jacuzzi rooms, we called ahead to be sure. We were very clear, when speaking to the desk clerk, that we wanted an actual jacuzzi, NOT a tub with jacuzzi... more

The hotel did not receive a letter from this guest. We welcome feedback of all types to help us improve our product. The room described is very nice. It is outfitted with a bone fide 2 person tub built by the Jaccuzzi company. The room is clean, well maintained, and a very good value for a Santa Barbara hotel. The...

This hotel is a regular stop for many of my friends and the second visit for me. The rooms are nice, roomy with a standard bath plus a second mirror and sink. First floor rooms have glass patio doors that open up to beautiful, lush grounds while second floor rooms open up to a decent sized balcony. There is a... more

It's the location that is the main draw here. The hotel offers basic clean rooms with friendly service. The prices are in line with how expensive santa barbara is and how close it is to the night scene and the beach. Pretty good food at the bar/restaurant also, worked out great for my vacation. more

We wanted a good, clean and convenient place to stay for one night, while visiting our son at UCSB. Many hotels in Santa Barbara require two nights minimum. Our large room was very nice for this class of hotel. The staff I talked to on the phone and at the front desk were all friendly and efficient. The courtyard and... more

This is the worst hotel I've stayed in. The beds are least 25 years old. They claim it was remodeled in 2003. NOT. There was nothing nice about it. Not the room or the people working there. Way too much money for nothing. An average of 180.00 a night. What a joke! more

This hotel is very basic but clean and for the most part... staffing is polite. I've stayed here every year (fiestas) for the past 9 yrs. The staff is generally very nice (except the asian chick who books rooms during the day, she is very rude & always claims to not have availability?) and I've never had an issue with... more

We needed a place to stay for one night on a weekend for a family wedding and there are not a lot of hotels in Santa Barbara that offer one-night stays on the weekend, so we ended up at the Lemon Tree despite some not-so-favorable reviews here. I am really happy we did! The Inn admittedly doesn't look like much... more
