Right across from a GREAT sandy beach (none of that rocky nonesense characteristic of the Cali central coast). Hotel has lots of ammenities (laundry, fitness center, great concierge services, near trAder joes). Rooms were spacious and up todate. We had a garden view room, upgraded. We used our Hilton Honors points and felt it was definitely worth the 40,000 pts. more

We have stayed at this resort many times, as our daughter just graduated from UCSB. This stay was an extended family stay to celebrate and attend her graduation. The location couldn't be better. The grounds and facilities are very nice. The rooms are comfortable and roomy and nicely appointed, And the staff is professional and courteous. Fess Parker Resort is fabulously located but the "resort" has seen its' better days. The help is nice buit the facilities, food, amenities and rooms have passed their useful life.
