Inn is located nicely a few blocks away from the sea. Close by there is 7/11 and a supermarket. The building is a bit old as well as the decoration of the rooms. It can be noisy, not from outside but from inside. Parking included, no wifi, standard breakfast. more

Our time here was perfect! Our room was spacious and really great. The staff was helpful and polite and the breakfast was actually really good. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we plan to stay here again next time, we came all the way from tennessee an this was one of the best stays we had.. more

The manager, Samantha, was very welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal and close to the harbor. Parking was plentiful, even though the hotel had full occupancy. Rates were reasonable for Santa Barbara. Beds were comfortable with light-weight duvets. The room had a large private balcony, large flat-screen TV refrigerator, ironing board and hair-dryer. Complementary breakfast was more than adequate... more

Avania Inn is conveniently located a couple blocks from the beautiful beach and the Stearns Wharf pier. It is also located only a few blocks from downtown State Street, where one can find any store, restaurant, bar, and or club they desire. The location offers an easily accessible nightlife for any age group. The staff was trustworthy and extremely helpful,... more

Checked in at 3 p.m. without a problem. Samantha, presumably the manager, was very friendly, and offered to upgrade our booking for free. Managed to get into room 306, which overlooked the parking lot, and the softball fields across the street. The newly remodeled look is very tasteful and slightly swanky. Teals and browns are the going theme, and are... more

We stayed in Room 306 for one night and clerk was hesitant to assign it as the AC wasn't working, but since the temperature highs were in low 60s we took it anyway. On top floor, king bed, newly redecorated attractive room with good linens and towels, and as good a refit on a cheap motel as you could expect.... more

This hotel was a really big happy surprise after reading all earlier very bad reviews here (it was among three worst hotels of Santa Barbara, but we chose it as it was way cheaper than other available ones at the time). There's obviously been a major renovation on the premises and the interior was now really nice, I loved the... more

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. I was there w/ my family so the breakfast (which included waffles) was a great deal. The room was very nice, clean & spacious. Nice to have a frig, coffee maker and large flat screen TV too! The decor of the place was great! We loved the colors and furnishings!... more

Although I was wary of staying here after reading earlier reviews, I'd definitely stay here again. The manager(ess) was extremely helpful and friendly (and obviously hard-working). There was still a little construction going on but that will further improve the inn in time (probably by now). My room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. The continental breakfast was... more

Everyday on my vacation they were doing construction outside starting at 7:30a. We were not warned of this before staying here and the people working didn't seem to care when we mentioned it. On top of it, they don't seem to have a high standard for their business, which is too bad cause it's a great location. If you can... more
