While this hotel is actually more of a high-end motel, it is very nice. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the service is outstanding. Free wine and cheese is served nightly, followed by milk and cookies. There is also a good continental breakfast available at no extra charge. These extra touches more than make up for the lack of... We were a little confused when we arrived as the place resembled a roadside motel but we were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room which was very comfortable and spacious. As we were honey mooning, the hotel upgraded us to a large King Room and gave us some complimentary chocolates and Champagne! Upon checkin, we were directed to... More

This is a fine hotel masquerading as a motel. As you drive in and see the building, you may wonder: why am I paying the price for a fine hotel and getting a roadside motel? You can dismiss that thought in a millisecond. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-tended. Every detail has been considered and is well looked after.... More

We had a twin queen for three of us and there was plenty of room for all. Complimentary champagne in the fridge when we arrived as a welcome. Outside pool available although we didn't get time to use. Short walk to the ocean front and main shopping areas, there within minutes. Continental breakfast more than enough to get us away... More

Stayed at this hotel during our visit to Santa Barbara on our honeymoon. It really should be listed as a motel- very overpriced and outdated for what it has to offer. Located next door to a gas station. Views are of the parking lot. The staff deserves to get 5 stars as they provide great customer service.

Good news is that the employees are friendly and helpful and we received free use of the bicycles, as well as cheese and wine and continental breakfast. Not-so-good news is that the daily rate (mid-July) was about $350 per day! I expected better accommodations for this price. Our room was behind a stairwell and over the parking garage (very narrow... Friendly staff, excellent amenities, comfortable rooms. Everything that we wanted for a hotel stay. We especially enjoyed the service, pool, breakfast, wine and cheese in the afternoon, milk and cookies in the evening.

A friend and I stumbled across this place by accident during a roadtrip down the West coast from San Francisco - Las Vegas. The motel next door was fully booked as there was a concert in town. We were only here for 12hrs so were unable to make use of the pool or other amenities. The resort had a really... More

Loved our stay @ Brisas. Helpful staff. Great, simple, and clean rooms. A free bottle of champagne chilled in our fridge! Also as previously mentioned; free loaner bikes to cruise the beach, wine and cheese bar, milk & cookies, and a very nice breakfast buffet (great yogurt parfaits!) Really enjoyed our stay. We were at the end of our road... More

We've stayed here previously, a couple years earlier, and found the place to be quaint and reasonably priced. It's an older place but I think they've spruced it up since our previous stay. Clean, simple rooms, nice layout, and the staff is wonderful. Love the wine and cheese in afternoons, cookies and milk at bedtime. Convenient location to everything. Hope... More
