I chose the hotel for it's location and a few of the amenities such as the free parking, refrigerator and continental breakfast to cut some costs. I also wanted to be close to the beach and the city center. It met all these criteria perfectly and exceeded my expectations. Only a six minute drive to state street and a short... More

We stayed here with our family at the end of a roadtrip, and it was exactly what we needed. Just perfect. The service was great, the rooms were big! There was a swimming pool and we could hire bikes for free, which was very nice. Every afternoon there was free wine and cheese at the reception so we really did... More

We stayed here early July as a family of 3 (with teenager) - or as was pointed out by Anthony it was technically 4 as I had a sizable bump!! We could not have asked for more. We had a room with 2 queen beds, lovely and spacious with a separate kitchen area overlooking the pool and hot tub. It... More

We stayed at this small friendly hotel at the end of our 3 week road trip around California. We too loved the wine and cheese and the cookies, the bikes were a great way to see the town and harbour and Anthony in particular was most helpful with advice and recommendations . Also thank you so much Anthony for sending... More

This was a very nice hotel we stayed in Santa Barbara. The front desk staff is superb, very helpful, friendly and will book any trips for you that you like and good with restaurant recommendations. The hotel is 7-10 minute walk from the beach and harbour, rooms are clean, big enough and quiet. Pools were a bit over crowded with... More

After a busy 4 days in San Francisco it was so lovely to relax at this hotel. We loved the pool and exotic plants and of course the lovely wine and cheese in the evenings. My daughter loved the cookies. A bonus was the free continental breakfast which we had not known about. We borrowed the bikes and loved cycling... More

We loved this hotel. Built around a courtyard with flowers growing everywhere, palm trees and a pool. A free breakfast, coffee and pastries all day and then wine and cheese at 4:30. Bike hire was also free. What's not to like?

We are coming towards the end of a roadtrip down to San Diego and wanted to make the stop in Santa Barbara as a place we see often in the movies but also because it was a good place to recharge before dealing with LA traffic (!). We had a few options to choose from when we began our trip... More

We stayed here on honeymoon and it was fantastic, we were greeted upon arrival in our room by complementary champagne and chocolates. There was free cheese and wine in the lobby in the afternoon, constant free tea and coffee. The included breakfast was great too, loved the granola !! Parking and Wi-Fi are free. In all this is a great... More

We stayed at this hotel on our trip down highway one. It was one of the best we stayed at. The room was a nice size with a fridge. There is a small pool and hot tub which was very nice after walking around Santa Barbara for a couple of days. The free breakfast was good but it could be... More
