Every time I visit Santa Barbara, I have hard time finding a satisfying nice hotel, they are all old and expensive, so my expectation is low. Among those hotels, this best Western is a decent in everything!! The service is very good and the bed is so comfortable; they are really trying the best out of an old old building,... More

This hotel is consistently clean and extremely comfortable with the most wonderful mattresses. Staff is courteous and helpful. They have a nice pool & jacuzzi which we always use and enjoy. This hotel is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The only negative is that you need to bring or buy your own drinking water. The hotel provides coffee/tea/fresh fruits, but no Breakfast.... More

We stayed here for two nights on a trip along the Pacific Coast Highway. It's a bit of a drive to the beach but the rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the family loved the pool and hot-tub. We didn't try the restaurant as the reviews were not good. We would happily visit again.

Having reservations at this hotel for a stopover only, I was pleasantly surprised by this venue. The rooms are spacious, with good beds and a large bathroom and excellent, fast wifi. Rooms are built around a large pool area, and all rooms have balconies that are excellent chill out places at night. The complimentary bottles of water are a nice... More

I needed a pet friendly hotel with 2 queen beds in Santa Barbara. My choices were pretty limited, and I was a bit nervous about this one. It turned out to be a great choice. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Free bottled water, coffee, fruit, cookie and wifi. The room looked out over... More

Stayed in a King Deluxe, that basically had a couple of sofa's in it and overlooked one of the pools. Only stayed one night, but stay was good. Customer service was excellent, they even cleaned our car windscreens in the morning. Service was great. Hotel was a bit dated. Plenty of facilities around (shopping etc.) Laundry room was available, which... More

Driving into the Peppertree Inn we were a little disappointed and did not expect too much. However, on check in the staff were very nice and once we went to our rooms we were pleasantly surprised as they were spacious and had everything we needed. Also, they were very clean. The doors opened onto a lovely outdoor area with a good... More

Was not expecting much from a Best Western, even though it had 'Plus' added. However, what a pleasant surprise this charming motel is...from the friendly service to the overall ambience. They really try and make everything as comfortable and convenient as possible, and we were very happy here. Across the street is a shopping area, and definitely try Backyard Bowls... More
