Unusually for me I did not. I booked this trip relatively short notice. I normally like the social side of B&Bs, getting to know other guests at breakfast. John, the manager, quickly gave us the lay of the land, including that our room was in another building down the street and that breakfast would be delivered to our room. I... More

What a great Escape for my wife and I. Guest services are incredibly great. Room is awesome over 100 years old and you can truly feel the history here. It's like stepping out of a time machine. The house is beautiful and kept. All the decorations and furniture is considered to keep that same feel. Our own private entrance and... More

I just spend a couple of days in Santa Barbara with my girlfriends at A White Jasmine Inn. Clean, beautiful, delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful Innkeeper. The White Jasmine is on a lovely, quiet street (we sat on our porch watching the birds at breakfast), but only blocks from State Street with dozens of restaurants, shops, theaters and Stearns Wharf.... Recently I was in the mood to stay at a bed and breakfast in Santa Barbara. I decided that a visit to A White Jasmine for the Christmas weekend would be fun. This was the second stay for me at this quaint bed and breakfast. And just like my first visit, this second visit was terrific. The innkeepers were very... More

This is a really nice Victorian B&B in a quiet, residential area, a few minutes walk to downtown shops, restaurants, theaters, museum, and near the beach. Free parking in the rear or on the street. The main house where I stayed is decorated in period furniture. You can help yourself to the local magazines, brochures, and newspapers on the table.... More

I looked on line about a month ago to find a B&B in Santa Barbara that had good reviews. I called and talked to the proprietor and asked her questions about her property. She was eager to tell me all about it and I also looked on line and saw the different rooms that were available. We choose the Craftsman... More

We stayed here a couple of years ago and really liked it. It didn't disappoint on this trip either. Spotlessly clean! Not a speck of dust. Very comfortable. Yummy breakfast and cookies. The Innkeeper is so nice and welcoming also. Great location. This will be our main place to stay when we visit Santa Barbara from now on.

We stayed at the White Jasmine one night. On arrival, the innkeeper seemed surprised to see us but did find our booking. The Lavender Room was clean and florally decorated which looked nice but had no space to unpack a case. The bath was high so you had to climb a stool to get into the bath for a shower.... More

I am sorry that you feel some of the aspects of your stay was lacking. Please note the following: You arrived late (which is not a problem at all) and seemed tired and the most of the information I communicated was clearly not absorbed by the two of you as your questions were repeated, in many cases immediately after I... The room was clean and decorated lovely. The innkeeper John was very kind. He tried to explain everything about Santa Barbara. Location was very good, only about 10 minutes to walk downtown! We can enjoy walking downtown after dinner. Breakfast was served to my room in lovely picnic basket, my wife and I enjoyed it in the garden where we... More

We had 4 couples stay and John was a gracious host. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The decor in each room was very cute and pretty well done. The breakfast was delivered daily to our rooms and was very good. Great location, walking distance to State street. The only complaint was that the air conditioning was somewhat... More
