We decided last minute to opt out of staying in wine country and stay closer to pier in downtown santa barbara. This hotel was such a steal 129/night (mgrs special) reg rate $179. The rooms were spacious and clean and light. I loved it. I reccomend fopr anyone staying in the area more

Unfortunately we had to make a last minute room reservation and I didn't have time to review this place! We wanted and got a bay view but it wasn't worth the 250 dollars. It wasn't worth 80 dollars!!! The room didn't have air conditioning, the carpet needed to be replaced last decade and the screen door wouldnt close all the... more

Okay it's Santa Barbara and it's across from the harbor. But the room lock was broken and didn't fit into a very rinky-dink door jamb (fixed right away when we called the next day), one light controlled the water closet, vanity area and shower including fan - couldn't turn it off without dousing all lights to these areas. Sliding glass... more

First mistake, didn't do my homework and booked without checking Trip Advisor! There is no air conditioning and we arrived late at night during a heat wave. The room had been closed up all day and was very hot and stuffy. If it hadn't been so late we would have left. Besides the air conditioning the room was dirty, smelled... more

I believe the hotel should have disclosed to me that they did not have air conditioning as I was arriving in the middle of a heat wave. As it happened, I did not get there until late evening and had no choice but to stay. I would never go back and will be sure all my friends are aware of... more

Our room was not air conditioned, unventilated, very noisy, as you had to leave the small windows open. The rug was stained beyond repair, not that I think an effort was ever made to clean it. The staff was quite friendly and efficient. more

Since I came to Santa Barbara during Fiesta Days, the location of this hotel was ideal. We could see the parade from our balcony. The pool was great, but the rooms are just ok. There is no air conditioning, so you must sleep with the doors open which leads to alot of street noise. Also, the front desk staff is... more

A motorcycle or ambulance went by every minute. this is not an exageration. The rooms that face Cabrillo are uninhabitable due to the noise. We tried to take a nap and let the ocean breeze blow in and at one point my wife jumped out of bed from a motorcycle going by. Also the hot water would not come on... more
