We stayed at Autocamp and were very excited to check off our list staying in an air stream. While it was cute definitely a novelty. I say do it once and try it. We had 4 of us and pull out bed is not very comfortable, the main queen bed was soft an comfy but tight quarters. It is also... More

Ever since I first heard about AutoCamp in Santa Barbara, I have wanted to visit - I'm a huge fan of Airstreams, and dream of owning my own one day. I am particularly enamored with vintage Airstreams; the ones at AutoCamp were restored by a local architectural company. I stayed in #2, a 1959 Airstream Overlander. It was everything I... More

We stayed at Auto Camp while exploring Santa Barbara for the weekend. I think staying in an Airstream was more of a novelty for us than anything. The trailer compound is cute & in a nice location. We stayed in Site 1. Our Airstream did not have an awning like the other 4 trailers & while inside the trailer had... More

First, understand what you're considering as lodging ... the owners have removed 5 mobile homes from a trailer park and put in 5 cute mid-century silver airstream campers. It's a fun way to spend a couple days near the beach. It's very clean, modern and hip. What it isn't is chic and pampering... if you need 5 stars ... keep... More

Our motivation for planning our trip was to meet our daughter and grandchild for a weekend in Santa Barbara with a visit to the Zoo and good eats at a local restaurant. The Fair - the Airstream was cute and very small - we rented unit 4 and had trouble with the bathroom and the bed. If you are over... More

We took our grandkids, ages 5 & 3, on a road trip and wanted to stay in unique places. The airstream fit the bill. The kids, plus Grandpa, loved overnighting in an airstream. I called & talked with Christi when booking our stay. She was very friendly & punctual when emailing us the needed info for our stay.

I'd always admired the sleek, shiny Airstream trailers on the highways or campgrounds, but had never been inside one, so we decided to try Autocamp. First we stayed in Unit 2, and enjoyed the restored vintage style interior, with the wooden cabinets, clever storage, striped canvas booth seating, and the salmon-colored bathroom. It had everything we needed--VERY comfortable bedding on... More

My wife and I stayed overnight in one of the airstream trailers at Autocamp Santa Barbara last December on our way up to Big Sur For Christmas. The trailer was quite roomy, clean and very cute. It was a lot of fun and we will stay there again when we visit Santa Barbara.

This was so fun! Our husbands thought we were crazy, so my friend and I decided to make this a girlfriend get-away. We had a great time! We stayed in Unit 2 and were a little surprised that it was a half-wall separated from the sidewalk of De La Vina St. but it was fine. The airstream was spotlessly clean,... More

We stayed in Number 5 for 2 nights a great experience After problems getting in with a very long key code to open the door the airstream is well kitted out with everthing you could want The bed was very comfortable . Interesting local neighbourhood . Good shops and eating places. The Mexican up the road was superb .
