Take yourself back to the mid 50's and stay in the ultimate travel trailer without the hassle of towing one in and setting it up! These Airstream travel trailers have been retro-fitted to resemble the 50's look, but with the all of the amenities one would expect today... Flat screen TV, full size stainless steel sink, refrigerator, A/C & a... More

I stayed in an Airstream (no 5) with my husband and two boys (8 and 11) for two nights. I have always loved Airstreams, but this was something else. The layout and decor were spot on and the landscaping gave us privacy from the other vans. There were plenty of great little restaurants and a Trader Joe's close by. We... More

We stayed in #3 for two nights. The airstream was a great! We were two adults and a child with a lot of luggage as we travelled from overseas - it was a little tight but completely doable. It had everything we needed and the location was handy. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday night. The first night was... More

We stayed a weekend in Auto Camp for the experience of staying in an Airstream for a girls getaway weekend. We stayed in #2 which was comfortably furnished with two comfortable twin beds and a very small bathroom. We enjoyed the private outdoor space. However parking is very tight, even with our Prius. Other units had more room. It was... More

We stayed at Autocamp and were very excited to check off our list staying in an air stream. While it was cute definitely a novelty. I say do it once and try it. We had 4 of us and pull out bed is not very comfortable, the main queen bed was soft an comfy but tight quarters. It is also... More

I am glad that you were able to check this off of your list of things to do. Staying in an Airstream is definitely a unique experience. We have tried to make the experience the best it can be for our guest and strive to improve wherever we can. If there are any suggestions you can give me for amenities,... More

Ever since I first heard about AutoCamp in Santa Barbara, I have wanted to visit - I'm a huge fan of Airstreams, and dream of owning my own one day. I am particularly enamored with vintage Airstreams; the ones at AutoCamp were restored by a local architectural company. I stayed in #2, a 1959 Airstream Overlander. It was everything I... More

Thank you for sharing your experience at Autocamp. I love the fact that you are a fan of vintage Airstreams, especially since our are all about 50 years old now. Unit 2 is the only one that we left the "classic" design in and it is so very cute and cozy. I hope that you come back and check out... More

We stayed at Auto Camp while exploring Santa Barbara for the weekend. I think staying in an Airstream was more of a novelty for us than anything. The trailer compound is cute & in a nice location. We stayed in Site 1. Our Airstream did not have an awning like the other 4 trailers & while inside the trailer had... More

Shella, Thank you very much for taking the time to review and share your experience at Autocamp on TripAdivor. We appreciate the feedback as it helps us to make stays here better. I know that the Airstreams are vintage and unit 1 sits under a 100 year old oak tree which can shed much dirt and leaves on to the... More

First, understand what you're considering as lodging ... the owners have removed 5 mobile homes from a trailer park and put in 5 cute mid-century silver airstream campers. It's a fun way to spend a couple days near the beach. It's very clean, modern and hip. What it isn't is chic and pampering... if you need 5 stars ... keep... More

Rob, Thank you so much for your review on Autocamp. I am glad to hear you had a good time. And yes, Airstreams can be cool and funky if done correctly. We have done our best to take Airstreams trailers that are vintage and convert them into a cool retro place to stay. While the space is limited, I think... More

Our motivation for planning our trip was to meet our daughter and grandchild for a weekend in Santa Barbara with a visit to the Zoo and good eats at a local restaurant. We took our grandkids, ages 5 & 3, on a road trip and wanted to stay in unique places. The airstream fit the bill. The kids, plus Grandpa, loved overnighting in an airstream. I called & talked with Christi when booking our stay. She was very friendly & punctual when emailing us the needed info for our stay.

Kristi, I am glad you all had a good time and hope that you return to stay with us again soon. We are also opening a new location in the Spring of 2016 up in Northern California on the Russian River and you might want to check that one out as well. Cheers, Christi More
