I was hesitant at first reading all the negative reviews, but still made a reservation for a Queen sized bed for one night. The room was clean and equiped with the usual facilities, equipments. The two queen beds room was definitely on the small side, but it had everything - fridge, microwave, even a gas range; definitely equipped for extended stays. Clean and inexpensive ($88 a night, no breakfast). It's about 5-7 minutes' drive from Santa Barbara's main sights. more

My husband and I stayed at the Hacienda Motel for only one night. The room was a little small but had a cosy feel to it. A little rough in places, but was fine for a one night stay. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The location was a pretty average part of santa barbara. more

Room was clean, big enough, nice, adequate. Terrific location. They asked for $69 for a bed for two. I asked for AAA rate, and was offered $65. Considering almost everyplace around here is $200, I feel this was a find. Don't love it, but it's more than adequate. more

Perect! This was a definte find amoung the high prices in S.B our room was clean, the front desk truly went beyond good service. The host of the hotel had been kind enough to return books I had tor return before I left. The location was great it was nice to visit the shops in the hub but felt great... more

We stayed the hotel on two occasions and had a nice stay there. The price is great on weekdays, but on weekends not really worth the price considering the place is quite old. Recarpeting the place would really be nice. At least the place is clean and the staff has always been great during our stays. Only wished I was... more

Stayed 3 nights at the Hacienda Motel.. Very clean and staff were friendly. Easy access to Downtown State Street and beaches. I like the newly renovted Bathroom. A comfortable stay.. Would highly recommend this hotel. more
