I just love this place and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else....too bad it's only in Santa Barbara :) . Room was a little small but perfectly adequate and comfortable. LOVED the atmosphere: with the little courtyard. Small and intimate. Nice selection at the complimentary breakfast buffet. Free bikes for use by guests. Very pretty residential neighborhood to take walks in,... more

We stayed at the Marina Beach Motel for 1 night at the beginning of October. This Motel is very quaint, the rooms are set around a grassed court yard with bench seats. I would even go as far as to say this was the best motel we stayed in throughout our 19 night stay in California. Good Location in Santa... more

We only stayed here one night and it was fine. They offered free wifi but I didn’t get around to trying it. The room was a bit small (King with Kitchen) but it was fine for one night. Bathroom was small but I got used to it. The bed was uncomfortable. It was like a trampoline—every time I moved, my... more

Stayed one night on our way from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Comfy room, glad it had air conditioning as it was certainly needed. The room was a little small, but adequate, and having a refrigerator and microwave was a bonus. Enjoyed using the bikes for a couple of hours to ride into the heart of the city, as parking... more

My teen daughter and I came to check out UC and spent 1 night here. Couldn't have been better. Small size makes it easy (park in front of your room, a few steps to tjhe office...). Free bikes were great & we were able to go for 2 nice bike rides on the beach! Room was very comfortable and grounds... more

My husband and I stayed at this great remodeled motel with our adult children for a weekend. The breakfast was the best continental we've experienced at any hotel with wonderful pastries and breakfast breads as well as a good selection of cereals and yogurt. Bicycles were provided free for guests and were just right for a trip to the shopping... more

The hotel is in a great location, just 5 mins walk from the beach and 10 mins from the coastal end of State Street (the main street) and Stearns Wharf. We stayed in room 15 which was exceptionally clean and featured a mid sized kitchenette with sink, fridge/freezer etc. The hotel offers great extras such as free bike hire and... more

We choose to get a room with the jacuzzie ( I believe it was an extra $60.00 ) the total came to $240.00 a night but we feel were worth it as we both work hard. They had a nice breakfast, free use of bikes and the nights were quite, the beach is approx. 300 to 400 ft from the... more

The accomodation is in an brilliant location close to the beach and some excellent seafood restaurants. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good. There was a nice area to sit and eat breakfast or sit and read and have a glass of wine! Bikes are available free of charge and we had a very pleasant ride along... more

We arrived after a 7 hour drive in Santa Barbara at the Marina Beach Motel, to the desk clerk saying "Your reservations are next week", this was our Anniversay trip that we make yearly, we had made the reservations over the phone the previous week, he said that he remembered taking the reservations, but my husband said he spoke to... more
