I paid $400 for an "ocean view" room on the bottom floor with a sagging mattress. Service was excellent, but room fixtures are in desperate need of updating to justify these rates. Of course, you are directly across the street from the beach, but for these rates I'd suggest staying elsewhere and making the drive.

Nice location across from the beach but it is just not up to par with the usual Hyatt quality. Good service but rooms are just nice. Nothng special. Nothing wrong, just not my favorite Hyatt. I'd consider something else next visit to Santa Barbara.

This property is amazing, and the staff are truly fantastic! The rooms are large and spacious, and from the balcony we had an amazing view of the beach. I stayed here with a group of friends during a Californian road trip, and it was everything that I could have asked for in a hotel. Very hard to fault for quality!

My experience was positive and memorable from check-in to check-out.
