We spent the weekend in Santa Barbara escaping the heat of the Phoenix area. The Hyatt was a nice respite. The bed was comfortable and room quiet. The road separates the hotel from the ocean, but the traffic was light and we didn't hear a lot of road noise.

Hotel shows it's age even though it has been remodeled. Rooms clean but nothing memorable. Bathrooms are small. Service was very good. Restaurant, Bistro 1111 was excellent with a good menu and great presentation. Wine menu was just average. The hotel is right on the beach and very close to State Street and the marina area.
