This review pertains only to the small units that surround the office. We booked this room for one night only. Wanted a bed and shower in any plain but agreeable room. The kingsize bed was clean and comfortable. However the room was tiny and was the only one with no front window (the only unit like that). The rear window... More

Very pleasantly surprised. It's a small property and the exterior wasn't fancy at all. However the interior of the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels. The owners were very pleasant and eager to help us with suggestions for activities and the best way to get around town. I would definitely stay here again

I almost went and rented another room for the night. Honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I should have known something was up with $100 rate, but reviews were surprisingly decent, in some respects, and I was tired of paying $200 for other mediocre rooms in SB. Not one thing except TV was updated in the past 20... More

This little motel was very clean and the location was convenient. The person that checked us in was as sweet as can be. She jeven showed us the available room even though it was 10pm when we arrived. The room was nice and clean and appeared to be recently updated. Of course the price could not be beat either. If... More

Extremely dirty unless you get what they call the "Deluxe" room. We had the deluxe room the first night which was ok. Told us the next night they had the same but not the deluxe and the only difference was that the bathroom just had the shower and the bed and carpet were not new. Got to our second room... More

Admittedly we arrived rather late in Santa Barbara and obviously the reasonably priced hotels were already gone. We asked at the Tourist Information if they would have a clue where we could possibly stay the night. They suggested the Town and Country Inn as they were on their list of hotels (knowing that they would have a room to spare).... More

After popping in to a couple of hotels/motels for their rates which seemed too pricey... We came across Town & Country Inn. They had one room left at a good price ($95). The room was spotless, well equipped, large comfortable bed, powerful shower, flat screen tv. There was also onsite parking, right outside the rooms. The owners are extremely welcoming,... More

It seems the owners are doing some improvements, but the place needs major work. At least the sheets were clean, but the bath was dated and the shower flimsy. Any place to stay overnight in Santa Barbara is crazy expensive, but the T&C is a 1.5 star facility, charging 2.5 star rates. No services besides an ice machine and a... More

This place was OK for a one night stop. Reasonable for Santa Barbara. Appears to be new owners, and they are fixing the place up. Was pretty quiet, even though our room faced State street. It's an older building, but clean. No coffee or breakfast of any kind in the morning. Would we stay there again? Probably not.

Santa Barbara is a city of expensive hotels, We tried to find a decent hotel for less than 120 $ and it was impossible. Even the budget and no so clean hotels in the beach are 100$. They told us that in the untouristic up part of State Street there was an area where the hotels are cheaper so we... More
