Whatever you do, do not stay here. My wife and I cruised in to town and had no place to stay. We popped in and took a room thinking "how bad could it be?". It was BAD! Firstly, they had to retrieve a mattress from the car park to put in our room. The room smelt musty and our bodies... More

I stayed at the flowergarden inn for a little weekend getaway with my fiance. It was great. The rates were low, comparatively. The owners are a quirky older couple. They were very hospitable and had a great little breakfast. Make sure you wake up on time though! Or it will be over. The room was simple, but cute. It had... More

It was like Jekyll then Hyde, they were very nice checking us in 1st day and my wife by her self for the 2nd day. BUT that was until my wife had issues then rude. The smoke detector beeped at 11pm until 6am. They were very offensive and blamed my wife for not getting on chair to take it down... More

As the other reviewer mentioned the guy at the fron Kal I believe definitely did not get a hospitality and tourism degree. Called in to reserve a room last summer since I had a good experience prior and Kal kept telling me to call back closer to the date of arrival. I didnt want to do this because the weekend... More

I cannot say anything about staying there because I actually never did. Why not? Because hey had given the room away that I had booked over the phone two days earlier. The guy remembered my name, they had my phone number but because they had not written down my credit card number they considered the room not confirmed and gave... More

We left L.A. for a short weekend trip to Santa Barbara without booking in advance. So the first thing we popped in was the tourist info. There was a lovely old lady who really helped us out finding a place to stay. After a glance at her hotel list she found the cheapest still available place, the Flowergarden Inn, and... More

This hotel is very poorly run with very rude and unconcerning management. The rooms are old and very basic for the price that they are charging. i wouldn't even let my dog stay there!

A fantastic little Inn just off State Street (the main street) in Santa Barbara. The Inn is extremly well run, clean and very friendly, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay. It is also far cheaper than most in Santa Barbara and offer the best value for money. We paid $60.00 per night.

I booked a room here directly after reviewing this site and talking directly with someone at the hotel.... It was a busy weekend and this seemed like the only semi reasonable deal in town... anyway, long story short... we get there and it looks like a bunch of crackheads are staying there.... It was hot, so people had sheets up... More
