The Ol' Man and I were passing through town for work and this Motel 6 was affordable and dog-friendly. The room was basic (as are all Motel 6 rooms), so don't stay here expecting a mint on your pillow (or even shampoo and conditioner for that matter), but it had all the amenities we needed for our one night stay.... The staff is very friendly and accommodating. In a nice, safe area. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower. Also was quiet when I was there. Great place to bring your pet. Enjoyed morning coffee. Desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the area.

The staff greeted me with enthusiasm and even gave me the wifi password for free. The room was small for having two beds in it, but for the price you can't really complain. We got a room with a micro fridge, which was convenient for a few more bucks. There's free coffee only in the lobby from 6-10 am.

We stayed here for one night with our dog! We were very happy with the condition of the room: new boutique hotel type styling, no carpeting which is great for dog guests because it means easy clean-up after every visit. Clean towels, double bed, air conditioning, safe environment for doggie walks and restaurants. Free wifi is not available, that's the... More

Clean bed - but apparently a single even though I had booked a double for two people. Also got given a disabled room even though I had not specified any disability during booking. Found two long dark hairs in the folds of our towels. Friendly reception staff. Loads of food places within walking distance. Lots of parking. Good wifi. A... More

The location of this motel 6 was nice. There are many restaurants around and a grocery store around the corner. It is on State street, but it would be about a hour walk to get down to the happening downtown location. I was shocked to see a pool that was nicely maintained at a motel 6. I don't really stay... This was the best Motel 6 I have ever stayed at, a fine example of the latest in budget hotels. The floors are clean (no carpeting to attract dust and vermin), and all the little amenities are first-rate (like the light switches within reach of each side of the king-size bed). The small bathroom has a door to close it... More

Firstly, the motel is basic however that being said it is still comfortable and for that cheap price what can you expect?! The staff were superb. I agree with an earlier review that staff are efficient yet friendly and make you feel special and welcome. I would 100% recommend this hotel to friends and family with the caveat that they... More

I am fully aware of the not so stellar ratings and reviews but proceeded to book with this establishment solely because other hotels in this area (near the harbor area anyway) mostly require a minimum 2 nights stay on a weekend during summer season. My group needed to be staying close to the harbor as we had to wake up... More

My first impression of our room was not great. There were two burn holes in the comforter and another one in a built-in faux leather sofa chair. There was no carpet, which seemed odd but came in handy if we tracked in sand from the beach. Don't stay here if you expect privacy; the bathroom door is basically a flimsy... More
