We stated at "The 6" for 1 night on our way through town. We weren't looking for anything more than a bed, and the it was the cheapest place we could find. The room was clean, the area was great, and it certainly met our needs. When we checked in, we were informed that they weren't charging for wifi, as... More

The room was a non-smoking queen. Probably 10 years ago it was the opposite but the stench remained. There was no carpet on the floor, no box of tissues, no shampoo and two miniscule bars of soap. The pillows were lumpy, there was only a really thin blanket so it was cold even without the a/c on. When the a/c... More

I chose this Motel because it takes pets. There was a huge CHRISTMAS parade that night so most hotels that take pets were booked. The office was a huge turn off and should be upgraded. The staff was very nice and let us check in early, the pool looked clean and well kept. The room was frugal but modern. The... More

We needed an inexpensive and pet friendly place to stay for one night on a trip from San Jose to San Diego. We are originally from the opposite coast, so we wanted to find something in Santa Barbara that was near the tourist attractions since we had never been to this area before. This hotel is a relatively close drive... More

The Ol' Man and I were passing through town for work and this Motel 6 was affordable and dog-friendly. The room was basic (as are all Motel 6 rooms), so don't stay here expecting a mint on your pillow (or even shampoo and conditioner for that matter), but it had all the amenities we needed for our one night stay.... The staff is very friendly and accommodating. In a nice, safe area. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower. Also was quiet when I was there. Great place to bring your pet. Enjoyed morning coffee. Desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the area.

The staff greeted me with enthusiasm and even gave me the wifi password for free. The room was small for having two beds in it, but for the price you can't really complain. We got a room with a micro fridge, which was convenient for a few more bucks. There's free coffee only in the lobby from 6-10 am.

We stayed here for one night with our dog! We were very happy with the condition of the room: new boutique hotel type styling, no carpeting which is great for dog guests because it means easy clean-up after every visit. Clean towels, double bed, air conditioning, safe environment for doggie walks and restaurants. Free wifi is not available, that's the... More

Clean bed - but apparently a single even though I had booked a double for two people. Also got given a disabled room even though I had not specified any disability during booking. Found two long dark hairs in the folds of our towels. Friendly reception staff. Loads of food places within walking distance. Lots of parking. Good wifi. A... More

The location of this motel 6 was nice. There are many restaurants around and a grocery store around the corner. It is on State street, but it would be about a hour walk to get down to the happening downtown location. I was shocked to see a pool that was nicely maintained at a motel 6. I don't really stay...
