The room was very nice, we traveled with three teenage kids and two adults. We had two queen beds and one twin, it also had a fireplace. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom had a nice jacuzzi bathtub even though we could not get the jets to turn on. The breakfast wasn't really breakfast it was... More

DO NOT STAY HERE... Unless you don't mind a smoking room ( all of them are), rusty bathroom fixtures, sheets with cigarette burns, missing smoke detectors (hmm... Why would a smoke detector be installed in a room and then removed? Even if you are a smoker that's not ok.) I'm not someone who would just vent but this is really... More

Geo was very helpful with suggestions on sites to see, restaurants to go to and gave us outstanding service for the time we stayed there. No matter how busy he was, he always found time to attend to our every need, European style hospitality here in the States.

Seedy, at best. Poor maintenance, rooms not properly cleaned, old fashioned metal key system so security is an issue. Plus is that rooms come with companionship, usually cockroaches. You will never be lonely

We arrived in santa barbara having not booked a hotel after a long drive from san fran, i was asking in a petrol station where abouts the hotels where and a random stranger suggested this hotel. He then let us follow him to the hotel as we were lost and had ran out of battery on my phone. Which was... More

We stop here for one night. We didn't had a reservation at Santa Barbara, so after asking around in other places, we decide this was the best choice. The location is amazing. The place is simple but clean. Although, the room didn't had aircon and you here a lot of noise from the other rooms. There is a very nice... More

Cheap and correct price to value, but rooms are not well isolated (you hear every noise) and do not have any air condition! Location is great, parking is free and the staff allowed us to leave the car longer than we kept the room. Overall ok, rooms to improve, friendly staff.

Found this hotel by driving along the seafront and seeing the vacancy sign. Checked the room and all fine - no aircon but coped with fan, open windows and the cooling effect of the sea! Didn't have breakfast as store had been ransacked! WiFi ok most of the time.

Driving the scenic Pacific Coast Highway from LA to San Francisco we decided to stop for a night in Santa Barbara (how could you not?!). A part of the trip was to not plan anything, including accommodations along the way. So driving into Santa Barbara we pulled into the parking space of the first motel we saw. The guy at... More

We planned a trip to Santa Barbara but didn't make any hotel reservations thinking that rooms would be available on a Monday. All the other Hotels on Cabrillo, which is directly across the street from the beach, were booked and very over priced!! We stopped into this Motel and they had a room. To our surprise the room was very... More
