We stayed at the Montecito Inn for a long weekend. The hotel is perfectly located on Coast Village Rd. in town, walking distance to the shops and restaurants and an easy drive to all the Santa Barbara area has to offer. The staff was very friendly, the room spacious and tidy, the bed super comfy. The bathroom was on the... More

If you had told me before the weekend that I would spend three nights in a 3OO square foot bedroom I would have told you to direct me to the San Ysidro Ranch up the road from where I used to stay when I drank too much hooch. First off, the Montecito Inn is located in the epicenter of this... More

This hotel has a great location and that is why we picked it. It is non smoking and yet we were blasted with cigarette smoke as soon as we opened our hotel room door to the hallway. As the staff explained to me, there is a long time hotel guest who smokes just outside the hotel property. I guess they... More

We had a quiet Luxury King Room with a gas fireplace and a ginormous marble bathroom, although it did not have views. The furnishings were fairly upscale. Pool area and exercise area were a bit tight. We loved the location in Montecito - everything was within walking distance to great restaurants nearby and quaint shops. Santa Barbara was quick drive... More

My son, daughter and I spent a magical two days at this charming hotel. Our room, labeled "One King / One Full Bedroom" had two bathrooms with shower. perfect for the three of us. It was room 218 with 334 sq.ft., both spacious and comfortable. The staff was very personable and helpful. The hotel itself has been renovated, while keeping... More

Nice rooms, modernly furnished, but a some what outdated building. Plumbing and water pressure not necessarily up to 21st century standards. However a charming building with historic pedigree. The late check in time is a bit cumbersome, though most hotels are going this route now. We only stayed one night, so we arrived early to meet friends for day of... More

We chose this hotel because of its connections to Charlie Chaplin. We were disappointed-the hotel, although comfortable was nothing unusual and the service was below par. The male reception were more keen on their private conversations than customer service. The breakfast was absolutely terrible with very surly service and a small cramped area with not enough seating.

We hesitated going because of other reviews that talked about noise. It is located near the freeway but it wasn't so bad. The place has a lot of charm as it was started by Charlie Chaplin during the golden years of Hollywood. The room was great, the staff were great. There's an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi rarely used so you... More

We stayed at the Montecito Inn as part of a U.S. Roadtip. The hotel is wonderfully quaint and is very good value. We were greeted with a smile and were treated to friendly Service throughout our stay. The rooms were small but well decorated and suitably clean. It was the perfect place for a stop over. We made full use... More

Over rated, request a hannicap room at time of booking, when got there one wasn't available, they said that they would get a chair for toilet and had none, otherwise it's a beautiful place but I wouldn't recommend it for someone who is hannicap. My wife check it out 2 months prior before I scheduled it.My fault for not checking... More
