The location works. It's not in downtown Santa Barbara but good enough. I got allergies the minute I entered the room. So it's likely that the carpet hasn't been cleaned thoroughly. The bed was too soft. And the breakfast was nothing to write about. The staff was great. But we were in Santa Barbara for an overnight trip & I... More

Had a great time in Santa Barbra. Close to downtown which is a plus. Nice old Spanish style setting inn. Pier is just a walk away. Great services and complimentary breakfast. Rooms are spacious and clean.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Eagle Inn in Santa Barbara from January 12th through January 16th of 2016. We stayed in one of the cottages, the Santa Catalina. We booked the Eagle Inn through Priceline.com. What they don't tell you is that the Santa Catalina is an upstairs unit. When we arrived on Tuesday night... More

Second time we have stayed here in January. Totally enjoy the location with access to beach and walking distance to downtown and the many restaurants. Toma is our favorite along with the Original Sambo's

Great location, walking distance from the pier, beach, and funk zone. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast is included, the rooms are clean and spacious enough. It has a small town, home-like feel and quality to the place. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend a weekend near downtown SB and the funk zone.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Walking distance to State St, and 2 blocks to the pier/beach. The stay was comfortable, the room had everything we needed, the sheets were incredibly soft. We loved the amenities of renting bikes, borrowing DVDs on a rainy evening, and the warm chocolate chip cookies laid out each afternoon. The breakfast... More

My wife and I decided to visit the Santa Barbara area on our way to French Polynesia from the East Coast. The trip got off to a shaky start as our original flight was canceled due to the recent snow storm in the NY area. And then my luggage was lost by United at LAX (still missing), resulting in a... The casitas are amazing. They feel like your own home in downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel is in a great location. Easy walk to the beach, lower State St, and the wineries on Anacapa St. The front desk pointed us to a great lunch spot along the water called On the Alley.
