We wanted to get away for a night, we live in the LA area with Santa Barbara a little over an hour away. We booked the Santa Barbara cottage for a night, after viewing pictures on their site. Our plans didn’t go as we thought they would, so we didn’t check in until just a little after 8pm thanks to... more

Stayed here for 1 night & enjoyed our stay. Room was spotless, roomy & had a very nice large bed. After getting directions & restaurant recommendations from the front desk we walked to State Street & had a great meal & night out. After checking out we parked off State St to shop & have a good look around. Santa... more

What a wonderful surprise we had when we first drove up to the Eagle Inn!! We had seen pictures, but they did not do it justice! Its a beautiful inn surrounded by flowering vines, trees and plants. Our room was charming, very clean and had a fireplace as well as an adorable balcony where we sat every evening to have... more

This hotel was more than expected. The location was ideal. 2 blocks from the beach and 3 blocks from State Street. We entered our room and saw rose petals on the bed!! What a surprise. We also had a card congratulating us on our anniversary. We also received some complimentary chocolate, fruit, chips and water. We were very happy with... more

I reviewed over a dozen different places to stay for a romantic getaway with my hubby and that was affordable. Eagle Inn did not let me down. I booked a delux king room and was not very excited but thought I had picked the best from the options in SB. Upon check in we were upgraded to the "Anacapa" cottage.... more

Staff was very friendly, but the desk is only open 8 am - 10 pm, so early and late travelers beware! My room was "cozy" but others I think are quite spacious. Breakfast is okay, but nothing spectacular - juice, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, and pastries. They do have a computer and printer which is handy for printing out boarding... more

The Eagle inn staff were eager to please, and very helpful! We had a room on the street, but it wasn't too loud. Bed was comfortable, everything was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was nice, albeit not terribly exciting, but we loved having the outdoor balcony option! Free apples and delicious chocolate chip cookies and coffee in the lobby every afternoon... more

The location was good in a quiet street, not too far from the beach and restaurants. The reception area is a bit dark but was helped by a table offering complimentary, delicious homemade cookies and coffee. Our room was fine, the beds were HUGE and mostly filled the room! Enjoyed our stay but not great value for money. more

I was unpleasantly surprised by the Eagle Inn. It was the first time that Tripadvisor has let me down, so I feel compelled to share my impressions. Positives: The hotel is in a nice, residential neighborhood with other hotels around. It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 20 minute walk to the shops along the main... more

When we arrived early we were greeted by a very nice young man at the desk. Our room was not ready yet but would be shortly. He offered us suggestions on where to eat, what was around and a coupon for a complimentary appetizer at a nearby restaurant if we wanted to use while we waited, which we did. The... more
