For the price it is not worth it! The hard thing is it is the only place around that has full hook ups if that is what you need. People that run it are very young and not accommodating. You can hear the traffic and where we were located there was a sewer smell. The management did not manage unruly... More

After reading the reviews we decided to stay at Ocean Mesa. We knew it was on the freeway and by the railroad tracks. That did not bother us. The park is well laid out and most spots are very easy to get into. They are more roomy than most RV parks. A lot of the sites are divided by foliage... More

Nice spot off the 101 near El Captain State beach. Clean pool and showers, ants galore!! Be sure to bring bug spray and keep all food sealed! Seems like kids run the place, each time I went into the office/store their was a different teenager. Over priced for a campground that isn't on the beach, we paid $95. Nice vacation... More

These guys have done a good job with facilities and can't complain about the service. Good, tidy sites and hook-up services but more suited to "Condo campers" than true camping. Not a lot of room between sites, lots of bitumen and quite a bit of traffic noise from the 101 particularly as its below the the camp ground. Fine for... More

Great place to camp. With both areas for tents and RVs. Store has snacks and staff that is available late. Pool and spa keep clean. Showers available free next to pool area. View of ocean with little traffic noise. Nice camping we plan to return.

I thought for the price it would've been paved in gold and have really nice RV sites. Tight spots. Very noisy from the 101 traffic ...bring earplugs. Kept me awake three nights in a row. Good for kids though for the pool and some activities but definitely not for couples or empty nesters. If you must go, make sure you... More

We have stayed at many, many rv parks/ resorts and this is a very very nice one. The people here are nice and very accommodating. The place has great walking trails, avocado orchard, close to the beach, pool, park. etc. I am very happy with this campground. I want to come back with all my RV family members. Yes, the... More

Pulled in for a night of car camping. They had everything we needed. Great pool, hot tub, and store. Clean bathrooms and showers. Even did some laundry. Dropped in at the state park, which costs only $10 less and was glad we paid the extra money to stay at Ocean Mesa.

First I must say this was our first experience with a RV vacation. Everything was new for us. From driving a RV to parking it and staying in RV campground. We were, in this case, virgin when we arrived at this camp. Ok the front desk was a bit, how can I say, young and not very interested. Improbably did... More

This was our first time camping in Ocean Mesa. The $95 per day cost was not what I was willing to pay, but we were making last minute reservations and this place was one of the few that still had openings for Memorial Day weekend. After looking at the few options available we went with OM. When pulling into the... More
