Such a cute hotel! It's very clean, which is always a top priority for me. We booked two rooms, one king standard and one standard with two queen beds. The king was very spacious which included a fireplace. There was a large window that looked towards the mountains and the highway. We were located right next to the lobby entrance... More

I was fortunate to stay two nights in a corner room with an ocean view. The corner rooms have a special shower panel that allow one to choose between an overhead shower head or smaller nozzles that spritz your whole body. I didn't use the tub, but if I'm ever making a Highway 1 trip on the coast, we will... More

I really liked staying here. It was very close to the beach and the rooms were beautiful. The staff however, seemed very solemn and it didn't look like they wanted to be there. I'm not even sure some of them spoke English. And the shower/tub was really small. not exactly great for bathing with your partner. But other than that,... More

Was looking for a newer hotel near Cambria for a reasonable price for one night. Pros: The room was clean and they have made cosmetic upgrades recently. The bed and linens were nice and comfortable, rug was clean. Cons: limited parking lot, so had to park on the street. No air-conditioning - just an overhead ceiling fan so we opened... More

The hotel had nice accomodations: the lobby was small but well designed and cozy, the continental breakfast was fine, the pool looked inviting, the rooms were well appointed and the beds were comfy. Over all better then you'd expect for the middle of nowhere. The location in relation to Hearst castle can't be beat. However, despite what it looks like,... More

We stayed one night as we had just visited Hearst Castle. The room was really spacious with 2 Queen beds. Bathroom was a good size and room had a mini bar and separate fridge. The swimming pool was a bit small, but it more than amused my 9 year old for an hour or so! We enjoyed playing draughts on... More

The rooms were clean although the windows needed to be cleaned and the claims of being on the ocean are not entirely true. It has a view of the ocean. And is very close to the Herst Castle. The pool is slightly heated and there is an alright breakfast. And i would stay there again. We took the risk and stayed there even... Ideally positioned for Hearst Castle and beaches this hotel sits amongst a collection of low end motels on Route 101. But this one is much better - stylish and upmarket with friendly staff. We had a very comfortable room with distant ocean view at bargain basement price.

Our stay at the Morgan was great. It was cheaper than other well known hotels at ($97) and it offerred more space than is typical (including a fireplace, couch, ceiling fan). I was nervous because of all those people who said it was horrible. I took the gamble and found my stay to be wonderful. The room was great (very... More
