My wife and I stayed here for a night on a coastal highway 1 drive from Morro Bay to the Bay area. We were very happy with the hotel and facilities. We stayed in the main building. The staff at the reception was really cheerful and helpful. We had a Deluxe room facing towards the highway. We asked if we... More

This hotel was recommended from Frank at the Inn at East beach and it didn't disappoint. The hotel at first glance looks a lot more high end than most motels you see with the exterior of the hotel and Interior reception area having lots of nice premium touches. Friendly, polite and helpful staff at the desk. Location is good, right... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Morgan. It is an older hotel like most are in the area. Except for the wall heater, it has been updated pretty well. If there were any improvements to suggest it would be to heat the pool more, add a hot tub and a business center. The walls were thin and loud music from... More

The staff is friendly and helpful. It is old-style hotel and it feels outdated. Maintenance is not 100%. Breakfast is reasonable, but a small selection. Overall, the hotel is suitable for those who want to stop for one night to visit Hearst Castle and the colony of elephant seals at Piedras Blancas.

We recently spent the weekend at The Morgan. It is the perfect location if your are visiting Hearst Castle. It is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the price is very reasonable.

I recently stayed at The Morgan Hotel for two nights whilst travelling the central coast. The check in was swift and easy with a nice welcome and friendly staff on reception. The hotel has two locations we stayed in the main block, our room was ground floor, spacious and well appointed, clean and smelt good. As with all hotel rooms... More

We enjoyed our two nights at The Morgan. Great location for a weekend getaway. Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Our reasonably priced room (405) was very comfortable, well maintained with good beds. No air conditioning so it got a bit hot. We found a fan in the closet and that helped. Friendly staff.

Stayed here for 2 nights in February. It is a nice boutique hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were menus for local area restaurants in a binder in the lobby. Our room had a fireplace which we did not use as it was warm. Had to open the window to actually cool it down. The ceiling fan was broken... More

We stayed here on a Friday night after a visit to Hearst Castle. The room was very nice. We had a fireplace room but it was too warm, even in February, to use it. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean. The kings size bed was very comfortable. We did not use the pool. We did not eat... More

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting family in Cambria. We were a little taken aback when we checked in and the person told us we needed to drive down the road (2 doors down, just next to the Mexican restaurant) to our room, and even a little more nervous when we were the only people in the entire building...
