The Sea Breeze Inn is a decent and reasonably priced motel in San Simeon. I had stayed here in 1965 when it was called the Jade Motel and I purposely booked a 2nd floor room to see if the ocean view had changed much. We stayed for one night, on our way from Carmel to Santa Barbara. The hotel is reasonably quiet, the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is included. We didn't have time to use any amenities, except for the free wireless connection. Not a place to spend more than one night, but a reasonable stop along the way. more

I've stayed at the Sea Breeze at least two nights a month for the last four years. The staff treats me like family, and, as I'm mobility-impaired, reserves a ground-floor room for me. If you are looking for a clean room this is it! The tile foyer was spotless. After driving from Long Beach to Turlock and then Turlock to San Simeon, a clean room was a welcome sight! My family & I stayed here on June 3 - rooms are big & clean. Decorations a bit out dated. Close to the ocean & caslte - pool was disappointing & dirty. The breakfast was minimal & back eating area was in a great need of an upgrade & cleaning. Would I stay again maybe??? more

For a hotel of this price range, the Sea Breeze Inn was exceptional. No major complaints--front desk helpful, friendly; rooms spacious remodeled bath; bare bones comp. bkfst (but again, I refer to the price). I would stay here again, no second thoughts. Close to castle which was our destination on our way back to la from a trip up north. more
