This is a nice place to stay for a few nights. It is an older building, but is updated, very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated, but on the small side. Many rooms have a balcony. I stayed in the least expensive room $100, the Captain's Loft. It was extremely small and kind of funky. The bed, however was confortable. It was located off an alley looking area. Ambience rates 0. I'm sure if you get one of the $125 and up rooms it would be a lot nicer, Overall, the hotel is charming, just not... more

There is a review titled Panama Hotel that is under restaurants also if you'd like another opinion. We stayed in Mimi's Bungalow. There were three adults and one infant. The room has one side with french doors to a patio, queen bed, vanity/closet area and the other side (divided by a door) has a futon, wet bar, microwave, mini fridge,... more
