This place is great!! We came late and without reservations but were met by the most adorable camp host's one could ask for!! They quickly accommodated us with a smile :) we were then immediately greeted by deer and bunnies, so cute!! Will be back and will recommend to others.

We recently stayed here for a friends birthday. There were 12 of us staying overnight and we had the first 2 plots. It didn't take too long to bring all the camping gear from the car park to our camp area. As we were one of the first plots it was a 3 minute wlk if in the top car... More

So glad I happened to google "state parks near me" while we were stopped for lunch. This is a beautiful park to drive through with tons of spots to pull off and stop for a bit. We weren't in hiking clothes but some short walks away were beaches and marshes and lots of natural beauty

I loved it from the start! Beautiful scenery and a great view to Sausalito harbour. Was there on a trip round Marin County, coming from Germany. What a lovely light and great silence all over...I would like to return to that place ...

Its a walk to campsite where you park your car, walk up to the camp site. It was very clean when we went , and the urinals were well stocked , saw lots of wild life there so that was lots of fun. It was pretty close to San Fransisco so we went across the golden gate bridge a few... More

Frustrated we paid half of our stay fee even though we left. The campgrounds were hornet and bee infested and the food pantry was filled with mouse poop. The water stations were bee infested and the trashes were obviously not dumped. The hosts were more interested in their cockers than the guests and had limited hours open with extensive directions... China Camp used to be a Chinese Community Shrimping area but now there is a small museum there a picnic area and lots of trails to hike and bike on. The area features good views of the bay and a wealth of local wildlife. There is street parking and a few small parking lots. Most days there are not a... More

First and foremost, the campground here is NOT a car camp site. You park in a main lot and then lug all your gear to your site. I didn't realize that when I made the reservation for me and my three little ones. However, the very friendly campground hosts had several residential wheeled street garbage containers that you can use... More
