I arrived late at night without advance reservation. Front entry is locked for security. Phoned hotel and night manager let me in and handled registration with efficiency. The rooms and common areas were immaculate and very comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly. The only downsides were that we could smell pipe tobacco being smoked nearby (presumably in the room next to ours) and we could hear the television from the room next to ours. I stayed at this hotel on a work trip and had a really bad experience in the plaza next to the hotel. I went into the grocery store and there was a very strange man that ended up following me in my car. The hotel was really great, but I would not suggest hanging out in that neigborhood. more
