If you're in the great San Francisco area on business, I'd highly recommend staying here. The valet service kindly has bottled water for you as you leave or return. Rooms are on part with other Marriott Properties. The concierge lounge employees are awesome and the hot breakfast if very good. The evening Hors d'oeuvres are often enough to cover for... More

This hotel is fine and is convenient to the airport. The building rambles and walking to the elevator can be a maze. The lounge doesn't provide free drinks which seemed odd to me. Parking is expensive but that is typical of hotels in that area. Overall not bad.

Checked into the San Mateo Marriott for 3 nights. The first impressions about the property were good. The outside and the lobby look great. The front desk service has been great. The disappointment comes when you walk from the newer lobby to the old hallways and rooms. The room seemed clean but in some disrepair. The tiny bathroom is falling... More

Hello TravelagentDerek, Thank you for taking the time to write your review I know with the many time constraints is can be difficult to find the time to compose your thoughts. We have just recently completed renovations of the meeting space on both the 1st and 2nd floors. We are working on plans for additional hotel renovations during the later... More

We drove past the property after leaving the airport on way to Yosemite. At first we thought that we made a mistake. How wrong we were. It worked out well. We were in a 1 bedroom suite and had a rollaway for our 3rd children. Room was large with separate shower and bath. The property turned out to be great... More

I stayed here for a few days during my company's meeting and had a good time. This is a very solid Marriott that I thought was made better with its Spanish Revival architecture and decor. To add to that, the room was nice and clean and I was very comfortable during my stay.

Well kept Marriott property with a very attentive staff and quiet rooms with soft beds. No real issues with the hotel other than the room cards seem to lose their information too easily compared to other hotels, may have just been an issue while I was there but yes I would go back.

My family of four-three adults and one child- stayed here for four days prior to the 4th of July. For the price we paid, I expected more. The room was clean, but housekeeping never replaced our toilet paper. The price for parking is horrendous at $22 a day for self parking and $25 for valet. Also, don't expect free breakfast.... More

People make or break one's business trip. If they are good, your needs are met, and you have a marvelous experience. That's the case with this hotel. I spoke to Javier, the Front Desk Manager, prior to arrival. He made sure that I'd be quite happy there. Tremendous! Also many thanks to JR, who made sure that the Concierge Lounge... More

Stayed for three nights over a holiday weekend. The hotel was sold out but you never felt that it was crowded. We received a room upgrade to a King Executive suite upon arrival because the double queen room was not available and it was done without asking by the front desk.. The room was very spacious and well appointed. The... More

Looked for something close to SFO but not close enough to be in a flight pattern. This is a good value for Bay Area lodging and decent, fairly updated rooms. The location is not a big draw as it just off the freeway in a commercial/ office location.
