No free internet. Not even a bottle of cheap shampoo in the bathroom. Yeah, I know this is a Motel 6, and not The Four Seasons. But tonight I got to experience washing my hair with an awful smelling bar of soap. Guess what? It sucked. There are so many other inexpensive motels/hotels nearby. I see no reason to ever... More

After 36 hours without sleep we finally got to our destination. Yes it was cheap accommodation but on reflection and compared to the rest of our trip it was below standard. Very few facilities, and the staff were poorly educated about where we could eat and how far away that was. Room was very basic but we slept, but we... More

I'm pretty surprised at the positive reviews here for this location. It was horrible. The room was dirty, the area is sketchy. Front desk doesn't answer the phone. I figured there wouldn't be a microwave or mini fridge, but there isn't even an alarm clock in this room, let alone any clock at all. And I'm pretty surprised that there's... More

Had a reservation with nonsmoking preference and downstairs requested since i suffer from arthritis. None available upon arrival so i had to pull myself slowly upward to a room with strong cigarette odor. The bathroom door needed to be kept closed as the odor entered through the vent. Held my breath to use it and forget about a shower. Despite... More

We have stayed here twice while visiting daughter at college. Rooms are all remodeled. You probably want to consider earplugs though as the walls seem paper thin. Both times we stayed here we could hear those in the rooms next to us as if they were sitting in ours. Front desk staff were efficient and friendly. They charge for WiFi.

I gave this four stars relative to the price (obviously not a "four star" hotel). The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The location and the property was quiet. We had quiet neighbors but I suspect the walls are fairly thin. Amenities were minimal (WiFi cost $5). Directly across the street is Margie's diner, which was convenient for early morning... More

It's a decently maintained property. Expect the typical motel 6 thin wall noise. Some small walking areas for dogs. There is a great city dog park off leash nearby. Trader joes close by across the freeway. Costco down the street a good place for gas.

We booked this via Orbitz after reading lots of reviews we decided that this is an OK hotel for one night stay and we were not wrong. They didnt charge us up front for the booking. Things that we didnt like: - non smoking room that we bookded /was a non smoking room but with a really bad smell of... More

We were looking for somewhere to crash between San Fran and LA and this served it's purpose. Rooms are modern, clean and basic and perfect for an overnight stay. The hotel is on I 101 so perfect for travelling. There is a diner across the road which serves massive breakfasts too which is very convenient. Obviously being a motel rooms... More

Great view, for san luis.Excellent room with nice amenities, and a futuristic look. Great Martian diner type furniture and all in all i was impressed with the TV and the price, made it worth it overall.
