Easy access to freeway. This is not a luxury hotel, but for the price it's certainly acceptable. The staff made us feel welcome. The room was clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was adequate. We would stay there again.

Rooms are basic but very clean. A relatively quiet hotel although it is close to the highway making it convenient to access. Breakfast is simple. Hi-Speed internet works great and is included in the price of the room. For best value and availability stay here during the week. Has the physical configuration more like that of a motel.

Check-in staff was very friendly and gave us a good tip to visit the farmer's market. He also recommended a good restaurant (mc lintocks). We walked to the farmer's market and restaurant. The room was a bit dated, but clean. Breakfast however was not good. Not a lot of choice and the quality of the food was poor.

Stayed here as there were limited rooms in SLO at time I needed a room. A little on the pricey side, but it was clean, everything was in working order, and had nice firm beds which gave me a great nights sleep. Had left my jackets in the closet after I checked out. The front desk retrieved them and held... More

I have been travelling for business quite a bit lately and have been staying in quite a few hotels, so far all within the Best Western chain. This one has by far been the worst. The desk clerk when I checked in was extremely helpful and friendly, however, that is really the best part of the stay. The hotel is... More

I booked 3 nights at the Best Western Somerset Inn and was pretty disappointed. I was traveling alone to visit my daughters who are Cal Poly students, and chose this Best Western because of its location and price. Unfortunately, there were a couple of weddings taking place that weekend, and the hotel was full of wedding guests, including a group... More

This property was a good value and clean. The staff was very professional and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, so be sure to bring your own shampoo, etc. There is a restaurant/night club next door, so there was some noise in the late evening...but not too bad.

Where to start? It's not unusual for us to stay at Best Western hotels in our travels, so we know they vary in quality. This is understandable, of course. During our four day stay we encountered the following: visibly dirty floors, bathrooms, and counter tops, a shower door that didn't close, threadbare towels, a heating and cooling system that neither... Hotel was located close to Cal Poly, able to walk into town, food choices close by. Rooms were spacious and the continental breakfast was enough to get you started each morning. The rates were reasonable and the staff were helpful and courteous.

The hotel has been updated, however it was not as clean as it had been on previous stays. I would probably stay here again, however I will bring my spray bottle of bathroom cleaner for the shower. Also the air conditioning unit could use a good cleaning, inside and out.. the rest of the room was satisfactory.
