Days Inn is a very average motel---and overpriced. Although all the ,motels in SLO seemed to be higher than most places. Do not ask for a rollaway. It was extremely uncomfortable, soft and like sleeping in a valley. We were not credited for the rollaway, by the staff when we complained. more

The Days Inn SLO was easy to get to off of 101. Just a short drive or mile walk down Monterey street will get you to downtown. I stayed 3 nights with a group of students. I tried to stay at the Days Inn SLO in February. The first room they put me in had a foul/moldy odor. I complained about that one and the next room had multiple problems ... Used cigars on the balcony, dents in the refrigerator, holes in the linens. There was a piece of duct tape (!) on the TV remote... more

The rooms are older, the beds are little uncomfortable. The property is well maintained though and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the pool. It was very quiet and the staff was helpful. more

We've stayed at this top of the line Day's Inn several times when in town on business. The pool is very nice and there's a good exercise room. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. we stayed in days inn one night and got the last room available.the smell was disgusting in the room and i bought a towel to use as the ones provided were not the cleanest and were yellow.there are plenty other places to stay that are much better for the price. more
