This is something out of an old Look magazine. Old school but still sort of cool. Swings and wooden chairs are all over the place. If you like hi-tech modern this isn't the place. Bed was great and price right. Basic motor motel...not all bad.

i just came back from a quick university tour & for the 1st time visiting SLO, we find this place since it was one of the closest to the campus. I really liked it, it was quiet, nice, cute, one story inn. The breakfast was good, cereal, hardboiled eggs, muffins, toasts, coffee, juice, milk, you name it, everything was good... More

Clean but aging - bathrooms looked newer than the rest of the room. Very basic, but it did have a minifridge, which was nice. Breakfast is not worth bothering, but it's nice of them to try (it's, like, white bread and cold cereal). Free wifi was a nice touch and it worked pretty well. Staff was a bit awkward, but... More

I was travelling w/ my two brothers. I had reserved a room for 3 adults. Upon arrival we were given keys to a room w/ only one queen bed??? I went back to the office where the girl seemed spaced out about the situation. I showed her my print out. Told her we needed a bigger better room for the... More

I wrote a nice review 6 months ago but, I would like to add, this motel is getting tired looking fast. We stayed in room 136 again. On our previous visit we mentioned to the front desk that the bathroom blinds were broken as well as the stoppers in the sink and tub. Well, the blinds are worse and the... More

Such a friendly and clean motel, reasonably priced and great rooms at the back. Very relaxing atmosphere as well. We took a big room at the back with a kingsize bed and a balcony overlooking the valley, it was wonderful. Breakfast is included.

You get what you pay for - we all know this. However, based on the reviews on this site you would think this was a best kept secret. The hotel is 2 stars. Period. The rooms are very small, directly off a main road, the interior is very worn out and you can hear everything. Luckily we arrived at 10pm... More

Our room was on the small side and very basically furnished. There are no frills here. Yet, it will meet your needs for a short, SLO visit. It's near the University and less than a mile walk to the downtown area. The room had a nice TV but it wasn't the easiest to use as we had to ask the... More

We had a bit of a problem at check in (we were given a room with one double bed after having booked a room for three), but that was resolved without too much trouble. The hotel is very easy to find, just off the Pacific Coast Highway, in a group of 6 or 8 hotels. The room was clean, with... More

I've been staying at the Peach Tree Inn in San Luis Obispo for a few years. The rooms are plain and simple but that's to be expected. The rates are fantastic and more importantly, the hotel staff really care to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The chap that works the front desk and morning breakfast spread makes really... More
