Great boutique hotel in downtown SLO. There's really nothing like it in the area. Small but charming rooms, and the whole place has a hip, updated vintage vibe-from the exposed brick, and the eclectic mix of vintage and modern touches. My bed was very comfortable, there were quality linens and toiletries, everything was perfect. There is some noise between rooms,... More

This is a boutique hotel in an old bricks-and-mortar building, retrofitted with steel struts to help protect against tremors. The rooms are small and space is tight...you'd think you were in Paris. However, they are very nicely appointed with brick walls, wood floor, and modern amenities. It has become so much the norm nowadays for these boutique hotels to offer... More

Let's start with the good news: This hotel is located in the heart of downtown SLO and walking distance to just about everything (except Cal Poly). The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is attention to detail that can't be beat in décor and service. The included breakfast was excellent and more than just your standard continental. The not... More

While visiting friends in SLO we decided after church to take a short walk to this interesting restaurant to sample its Sunday breakfast. The four of us were seated outside and the waitstaff gave us wonderful and friendly service. The breakfast entrees were prepared to everyone's liking. The beautiful atmosphere of this interesting place was enhanced by the lovely day.... More

This hotel is in a cute town with lots of shops and restaurants to walk around and see. The hotel itself had a rustic elegance to it with a touch of modern. I loved everything about this hotel and the connecting bistro had an amazing menu! I highly recommend it!

Great drinks, cool/hip decor, downtown location, and decent service but, the food is seriously lacking. I have eaten here three times and each meal was progressively worse. I tried the main coures, tapas, and appetizers and nothing seems better then average. Hopefully, the management can find a good chef to complement all the other positives of this venue.

This was a lovely spot in a perfect location. The bedroom was small but comfortable and attractive. The staff was helpful in directing me to a great running route. The location was convenient to restaurants, shopping, and the highway for out-of-town excursions. The bar and bistro were also very pleasant and the upstairs residents-only lounge was a great spot for... More

This for the hotel only. The restaurant was great. We stayed at the hotel BUT were unable to sleep. It is VERY VERY noisy. The window of our room opened on to an outside bar with people partying a couple of feet from our bed. To add insult to injury there was a horrendously loud fan going that could not... More

The Grenada Hotel and Bistro is an exquisite boutique hotel with a Euro-centric feel. The General Manger - Robert Williams and his staff are dedicated to guest comfort and service. The beautiful rooms provide a place for contentment and renewal. The Bistro offers delectable cuisine in a quaint setting.

We stayed two nights and had requested a quiet room. Our room (a deluxe queen) was lovely and comfortable, but perhaps the noisiest in the hotel because it overlooked the street. The first night, we left our balcony door open to enjoy the cool air, hoping that the street would quiet down as we slept. Instead, we found it constantly... More
