Everything about this hotel was well thought out with priority given to the guests over the bottom line. This is a lovely "boutique" hotel, that was formerly "a hotel that used to rent by the hour in the 1920's"!!! From the quaintly appointed lobby, to our room, everything was perfect and beautifully decorated with comfort always at the forefront. When... More

Needed a halfway driving point to spend the night after taking PCH from San Francisco to LA. Stunning drive around Big Sur and San Luis Obispo was the perfect halfway point on our drive. Very cute town and a great Farmer's Market on Thursday night. Hotel is very charming and very comfortable. Only thing to note is that there is... More

I found this hotel on Travel Advisor as I was planning a trip to visit our son at Cal Poly. Usually we get stuck at some kitschy motel/hotel? Like the Apple Farm or Courtyard. Finally the 21st century has found SLO at the Granada. Modern, stylish, comfortable. Nice compact room with marble, great amenities and comfy bed . Very nice... More

We stayed for 4 nights, 2 adult couples for a few days of wine tasting and hanging out. First of all, they upgraded one party so that couple could adjoin us in a corner set of rooms. Nice touch. They greet you with a glass of sparkling wine and plenty of enthusiastic help to get your bags to the room.... More

Perfect location for staying in downtown SLO. We stayed in smallest room (#7) and thought it was an excellant value. Fireplace in room. Also ate in restauraunt which was good, but not as good as Novo (also highly recomended). We liked the room and area so much we stayed an extra night.

We found this beautiful hotel by chance, not intending to stop in San luis obispo which is halfway between LA and San Francisco. Having stayed in this hotel and this town however, I highly recommend staying here as a stopover. The rooms are small but cleverly designed to make use of the space. Beautiful decor and furnishings but not ostentatious.... More

I've never stayed in San Luis Obispo before, but after buying concert tickets to see Ziggy Marley in downtown SLO, I had to research a place to stay. Thank goodness someone told me to look at hotels downtown vs. at the coast (Avila Beach) because there was no place at the beach that looked nice & contemporary. We came across... More

Impressive small hotel with an adjoining bistro (bistro is a bit pricey). Just off the main shopping/strolling boulevard in SLO. Small but luxurious rooms. Morning coffee and pastries in an upstairs, well appointed sitting room. Definitely not the most affordable hotel.

Just stayed one night in excellent but rather small room. Private guest terrace with friendly bar service and bistro restaraunt fronts the street. Recommended for a stopover between San Diego and San Francisco.

We stayed at the Granada Hotel for one night in July. The hotel was in walking distance to the SLO downtown attractions and restaurants. We would recommend the hotel to anyone that likes conveniently located boutique hotels.
