Stayed here for 2 nights on our trip up the west coast. Great situation for the town and surrounding areas. We borrowed a couple of the hotels bikes and visited one of the nearby vineyards. We were lucky enough to be in Obispo the night of the Farmers Market which was in the street just 50 metres from the hotel.... More

We had a wonderful stay in June to the Granada Hotel. The location is right smack in the middle of town and it was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The hotel staff was very friendly. You can check out bikes and ride them around town. They have a great restaurant and bar at this small boutique hotel.... More

Fantastic cozy and small hotel, with a modern and untraditional décor and layout. Fantastic service in both hotel and bistro. Great dining in the bistro. Central for shopping, visiting wineries and whale watching.

The rooms are lovely, nice nice and have charm. However the floors are very thin. we could the people above walkig - quite loudly. There were a lot of ppl partying in the hotel. The walls were so thin that we got to hear it all. i know we stayed in a college town, but was in the middle of... More

Location is everything, kind of. This is RIGHT downtown so you can party late night and stumble back to your room or easily leave from the hotel and set out on a walking tour of SLO. The rooms themselves vary in size and style like a room in a house. The room we stayed in was small but lovely. I... More

This boutique hotel (not a B & B), has some very good aspects to it and some areas that left us wanting. Their location, right downtown, allows one to walk everywhere. The shower size, flow, seat, etc., May be the best we have seen. No task lighting - picture a dark cave room & the ceiling A/C unit blowing directly... More

I recently stayed at the Granada March 21-23 the vibe in the hotel was of a European bed and breakfast, absolutely lovely! our room, facing outwards to the parking lot was indeed perfect. However if I had to make one fault.... because of being downtown it tends to get quite noisy at night which is annoying if your like me... More

Not only was this hotel beautiful, comfortable, fun and in a perfect location, we have never met a more helpful, knowledgeable and friendly front desk staff. We had a few requests that needed some extra attention and they came through big time. It made the trip really wonderful and stress-free.

This little bistro feels like it would fit right into the streets of Paris or Barcelona, but here it is in San Luis Obispo, the "happiest city in the USA." The menu is limited, but what they do, they do well. Their cocktails are winners and their salads are fresh, local, and great. I'm no hamburger eater, but my friend... More
