this place was okay, but VERY noisy!!!! not worth the money at all. the rooms were average, but you could tell it used to be an old cheap motel that was redone. the service was average as well. there are so many other places in san luis that are FAR better!!!

This is a nice motel that has been converted into a B&B. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, breakfast filling if not exceptional. Visitors should be aware that there is an active train line VERY close to this property, and one can hear trains and their very loud horns throughout the night. The location is a few blocks north of... More

I had a great experience working with the front desk staff. I will definitely stay here in the future.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Petit Soleil over Christmas and it was the perfect holiday getaway! We had the Joie de Vivre suite, which was a beautiful and very spacious for the price. Having a fireplace in the room (even when it was 75 dgrees outside!) made it feel very festive. All the staff were just so nice... More

We made our reservations here after reading about the Soleil on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed in any way. Our room was great, the location is good and the staff were wonderful. All of the staff we dealt with were excellent. Friendly, very helpful, even found out for us the restaurants that were open Thanksgiving. The breakfasts and evening... More

Excellent B & B, thoroughly enjoyed our stay en route from LA to San Francisco. Nice little town, lovely place for a 1 nighter. Wonderful breakfasts, great attention to detail, lovely rooms (ours a bit dark) well appointed. Lovely indoor and outdoor eating areas. A highlight of our USA trip. Superb breakfasts, charming room, wonderful hosts. A perfect stop-over for Cali road-trippers looking for a relaxing food and wine area.

We stayed at Petit Soleil for two nights over Labor day weekend. The inn itself is very nice. Very nice courtyard and the rooms were top notch. Very cozy and spacious. Excellent bathroom. Extremely comfortable bed. Everything was well maintained and clean. There was great attention to detail and lovely furnishings. Breakfast was delicious. I loved the little dining area.... More

We stayed at this lovely B&B last week for a night and it was the highlight of our trip! Such tasteful room designs, very beautiful court yard - it definitely doesn't feel like a hotel, more like you are staying at a friend's French country home! The staff is so helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend it both... More

I was looking for a great little anniversary trip for Memorial Day weekend not too far from where we live in California's central valley. Found Le Petit Soleil through Sunset magazine ad and looked up the website. It sounded perfect and it was in San Luis, which is a darling little town on the Central Coast with mild weather, beautiful... More
