This hotel is newly decorated. The rooms are very nice. There is strange smelling water and the later it gets, the worse the bathroom smells. There coffee shop has no prices posted. The regular coffee is nasty. Everyday it is brewed incorrectly. Starbucks would be ashamed if they knew. There is only 1 washer dryer in the whole hotel-which is broken.... more

I try and stay in the Hilton whenever I am on business in San Jose. It is a great hotel in the heart of the city and within walking distance to most offices in downtown area. The hotel has great king size beds, wireless internet connectivity and nice, clean ambience. Highly recommended more

The San Jose Hilton is the property that I call home away from home. The staff are disciplined, dedicated to client satisfaction and the property is well managed overall. The interior is bright with contemporary lines, the rooms are nice and all have a big flat-screen TV. Housekeeping does a great job. The gym will allow you to maintain when... more

This hotel looks like it has been recently updated. The rooms are swanky There are complimentary apples and bottled water everywhere. The rooms are quiet (though I stayed mid week and don't think the hotel is very full). The fitness center is spectacular. However they claim a "lap pool". It is about 25 feet by 5 feet - skinny and... more

I've stayed at Hiltons all over and every now and then I am surprised. This is an older property next to the convention center. I didn't pick the hotel and was not sure what to expect. I was surprised by the comfort of the room, the cleanliness, and the restaurant food. As usual, the staff was helpful. It was very... more

This hotel finally received a much-needed upgrade to all the rooms and public spaces. The results are impressive, appearing much more modern and high-end than you'd expect from a chain hotel. The only negative aspect of our visit was unfortunately a huge error, which is the reason for only three stars - we were checked into a room that someone... more

I stayed at the Hilton for the night before running a marathon - hoping simply for a quiet night sleep. The room was below average. Everything was old and in real need of an upgrade but that wasn't the issue. The huge problem was that the walls were paper thin to the point where you wondered if anybody had bothered... more

Cons: •Internet is an additional charge and no wireless option. The internet connection was also down without notification for several hours (front desk told me it would only be approx. 3 hours, total) •Breakfast – the buffet was mediocre and the service appeared understaffed as they seemed encourage you to get the buffet. We had to ask for menu’s and... more

Great location, public transportation right out the door( bus-light rail). room was very clean, and housekeeping did a great job all week. We were able to pick a two hour window of when we wanted our room cleaned( 8-10am, 10-12pm, ect.) The Staff was very helpful, and friendly! Always there to answer any questions, and help with getting to places,... more

Although the staff were very good, we were disappointed in the hotel. In particular, there was a large bedbug found in the morning in the middle of the bed. The hotel did not charge for the room, and did add a few points in the HH program, but we were disappointed to find that they did not offer to assist... more
