This hotel has everything that I would expect of a two star hotel. Good location, clean, and for me a reasonable price. Comfortable enough. But it isn't billed as a two star hotel, it is a Wyndham, which ought to be a cut above. There was visible rust in the bathroom. The bottom of the bathroom door was chipped. The... more

Upon check-in, everything was fine, though the front desk staff was not very attentive. I booked airline, hotel and rental car though Orbits, and expected Wyndham service & standards. However, when entering my room, I noticed gum and stains on the carpet. Naturally, I would have expected house keeping see this obvious filth and have it cleaned. Then I began... more

We are local visitors who used the Wyndham as a stay-cation. The staff was wonderful, and our room (on the top floor) was HUGE. Our evening was particularly peaceful: we did not hear a sound from any other guests. The breakfast buffet had an extremely nice selection. We would definitely stay here again. more

I chose this hotel because it was close to San Jose Airport and we didn't want to drive in commute for our early flight back home. The rooms look nothing like the pictures on the website. It was really run down and the paint was peeling, there was rust, etc. The heater/AC unit was flooding the carpet, the tv cabinet... more

I attended a meeting at the Wyndham and found the hotel to be a great location with excellent service. The guest rooms are very large with flat screen televisions and extra-comfy beds. Everything was clean and in place. The meetings that I was attending were well set up and the food in the restaurant (buffet) was very tasty and service... more

We stayed at Wyndham Hotel in San Jose for 2 nights in September. Hotel is big . . . but that's all. The check-in was a "cold" breeze. That's right, fast and cold, no welcoming words nor a fake smile, no eye contact, just clicking away on the computer, asked for our credit card, handed the keys over and off... more

I read with interest the lukewarm reviews of this hotel by people who were being too kind to this place. Check in was uneventful but when we entered our upgraded standard room were we ever shocked. The only thing that was missing were the cockroaches! The "refurbished room" came complete with carpeting that included waves, you had to be careful... more

The room was definitely clean. Everything looked worn though. The shower was not that great...not much water pressure. The room did have a Herman Miller office chair which was nice. The best part of my stay was that it was quiet in my room so I slept well. I stayed in room 421. The restuaurant is great. We ate dinner... more

For a Wyndham, this was very . . . average. Common areas and rooms alike are in okay shape. Nothing special, nothing bad. Just average. Location is GREAT no matter where you are going in the Silicon Valley, right on the light rail line. Room was clean, bar and restaurant are a bit pricey. For an adventure, try Linda's Light... more
