This is a very nice hotel near the airport. It was great for business travel since it had good food in the hotel and nearby. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the down pillows. And then they also give out warm cookies when you check in. They are delicious. more

Let's talk about charging extra for every little thing. A $12 room service order comes out to $20 ($50 on my bank statement). Extra fees for things like refrigerator and microwave, the rca jacks on the back of the tv are blocked so no video games or dvd. They charge their guests for parking! Hotel appears to be in between major remodels. Hotel is in generally good condition but needs some attention to details that make it tacky in spots. Room quality is average and needs attention to detail like where tub meets floor is gross. Restaurants are too expensive. Charging guests for parking is a big turn-off. more

My husband and I recently stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for a conference. The room was very large and comfortable. The bath was also large, and I love having the extra sink outside of the bathroom itself. The bed was excellent, and the furnishings, drapes, etc. all seemed quite new. If you're in San Jose on business, this hotel serves the purpose, but not much more. It's well-located near the airport and several corporate campuses. The public areas are pretty nice, though look somewhat dated. Self parking as well as valet is available, but somewhat steep I thought. The rooms don't really live up to other doubletrees I've stayed in.... more

I was here for a convention this weekend and had a lot of fun at this hotel. There were a few cleaning aspects that I noticed (things not getting dusted... little details)... but overall it was great! (and they give you COOKIES!!). more
