As I sit hear in another airport bar, I admit I'm not well rested and for once it's not my fault. My room at the Hyatt Place was very nice for a business trip. Comfortably bed, plenty of room, solid shower. The soap wasn't my favorite, but not a big deal for me. I woke up in the middle of... More

This Hyatt Place is within walking distance of most San Jose attractions. I have used this hotel as a venue for our workshops and have been a guest, several times - the last visit was in December, 2014. Dining opportunities at this hotel are limited, but there is a Hilton across the street, and several other hotels within walking distance,... More

This hotel is pretty simple but does the job. It really feels like a cookie cutter hotel of the 80's that's undergone a serious makeover to give it modern style and comfort. Expectations are everything, so don't expect the services or amenities that you'd get from a 4 star hotel because you won't find them here nor are you paying... More

this hotel is located near the performing arts center and within walking distance to SAP Center. The lobby is spacious and food/coffee is available 24/7. The rooms are comfortable. The beds were especially comfy. The shower head is very high, which is great for tall people! Our room overlooked the transit station, and we could hear the trains coming and... More

This is more like a motel with the Hyatt name. Worst sleep I had in years, with extremely noisy air system. Impossible to sleep, and on top the windows are very thin and I could hear airplanes coming in and out. Unfortunately I cannot recommend.

Dear Mr. schnizel Thanks for the feedback. So sorry to see you did not get a good night of rest with us. Great news for current/future visitors: we are wrapping up a replacement of windows with new dual pane to keep out the urban sounds of our downtown area. Please contact me directly if we can have you back with... More

STAY AWAY FROM THE STREET side OF THE BUILDING. ! Unless you want to stay awake all night with the night people partying way after hours ! The train is also a problem during the day. Great hotel otherwise , extremely clean and love the front of the house guest agents and the friendly housekeeping staff

I am so sorry to hear that your stay was negatively affected by the street noise. We understand this is an issue and have made arrangements to address it going forward. We are in the process of installing double pane sound proof windows on that side of the building. We should be done by the end of the month and... More

This hotel is located right in downtown San Jose. If you are here for a concert or a convention, this is a great location. You can walk to all the best places in town. Also within walking distance to a large handful of great places to eat. The hotel was renovated into a Hyatt Place a few years ago, and... More

We stayed here after attending a wedding reception that was at the Tech Museum. Very convenient location - the Tech Museum is on the same block! I have stayed at several Hyatt's, but never a Hyatt Place. It was clean and comfortable beds (a must for me). Our room was spacious and I loved the sectional sofa for a little... More

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. We stayed overnight here rather than trek down early from Oakland for an early morning 1/2 marathon. At the check in, Christina was the epitome of customer service. She offered us water and two KIND bars. She offered a tour of the facility. She provided all the necessary details that we... More

I stayed here with my officemates for a week and the staff never failed to impress me. The service is really excellent - you just have to treat them with respect and kindness and they'll do everything they can to impress you. I guess a little kindness really goes a long way. I particularly admire their Filipino staff and management;... More
