I needed a hotel close to the San Jose Airport for a stay before a morning flight. The Fairfield was a great find. The property is very nicely kept. We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting colleges nearby. It was a great location for stanford and ucla berkely. We spent the afternoons here relaxing. The pool is beautiful with a hot tub. Great price and breakfast. I would recommend not staying on the ground floor because the people above you will keep you up if you have an early flight. I was surprised at the sqeaky floors. That night I stayed the fire alarm with off twice. Needless to say, it was a long way home. more

I stayed at this hotel while attending a work meeting at the nearby Doubletree hotel. What a great deal! The fairfield inn was cheaper than the *group discount* rate at the doubletree.
