The room we got was horrendous. We checked our bed and there was hair all over the bed sheets with black specks. There were also black specks on the toilet too and some gooey consistency on the walls. It was so filthy. The manager Mark was also unpleasant to speak to about this situation. Save yourself and go to another hotel.

I stayed 8 nights at this motel because my boss chose it, so I had no choice. It was amazingly bad and it cost about $150 a night The first night I first checked in, there was no toilet paper. Sorry, says management, and brought two rolls. There was no hot water. Sorry, says management; we’ll look into it tomorrow. I had driven a thousand miles and was sick, so I was looking forward to a hot shower, but not that night, or the next morning. The first night, the gunshots kept me up. When I asked management in the morning, they said it didn’t happen on most nights. It was generally just on club nights. That, and the street racers flying around the block until the wee hours of the morning. So, no toilet paper, no shower and no sleep. Other than that, it still sucked. The following nights were also interesting. Guests with stereos cranked up so high it shook my room. When I called the front desk, the 500 pound clerk said he couldn’t hear it, and he wasn’t able to walk down to hear it for himself, so too bad. First the good. - This is an old motel that has been remodeled and the decor is quite nice. Great paint, carpet and decorations. - There was a small refrigerator and a microwave that seemed nice. - Lots of USB spots on the desk and night stand, along with a USB spider with every kind of charging cable included. - Nice secure courtyard for parking. Now the bad. - Most days there was no hot water. Every morning when I’d call the office, a guy would come down and walk into to my shower to confirm my story, then check the room next door. He wouldn’t believe me or explain why the room next door had anything to do with my hot water. Generally it worked in the evening, but not always. - The walls and door were scuffed and dinged badly. - One of the rooms I was in had the door jimmied at some point, and I could see outside with the door closed; the security lock was missing. Definitely anything but secure. - The remote control wasn’t made for the TV, so most of the buttons did nothing, and the guide on the screen had nothing to do with the programming, so there was no way to figure out what you wanted to watch except to scroll through every single channel every single time. - There were no towel bars, so once you used a towel, there was no place to put the wet towels. - The shower leaked lukewarm water all over the floor every single time I was able to use it. - The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. - The shower valve fell off in my hand every time I used it – for the lukewarm water. - The AC was intermittent and the digital temperature display had very little to do with what the AC was doing. Sometimes it was very cold, sometimes it wasn’t. - The internet stopped working every day. You had to call a tech support number and they didn’t know much; I ended up using my phone as a hotspot. - The room phone didn’t work. The volume was so low, I had to use my cell phone to call the office. So if you like paying North of $100 for one person for a motel with little to no hot water, little to no internet, noisy neighbors, gun shots, damaged walls and doors, leaky shower stalls, hardware loose and falling off, you will love this motel. For me, never again. I’ll sleep in my truck instead, if I have to.

The rooms are renovated, comfortable and clean, though the room’s security lock was broken and there are no safes in the the rooms. The exterior could use some cleanup, and walking around at night, the area is definitely shady. There were some vagabonds around the staircases and on the parking grounds in front of the rooms.

The city is really nice. If you want to stay one nightm this hotel is a goood option because is not expensive. But be ready for a very simple hotel, I dont recommend it for more than a night. Wifi does not work well on the rooms and even in the lobby its really slow!

This hotel was fantastic!! Reception staff friendly and very welcoming :-) room was amazing and impressively clean and immaculate. The pool area is clean and a welcome place to sit and relax. We got a free upgrade which was kind too. The breakfast is simple but the selection of cereals, fruit, pastries, tea, coffee, juices etc... is filling.

I had a 2 night stay here last week. The outside is still a work in progress but the rooms were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was always friendly. The breakfast is good when you consider the price of the room. Slept well, very quiet. Considering that the other hotels in the area are at least twice the rate, I think this place is a gem!

I used to go to San Jose State and wanted a location nearby and with included hassle free parking and I received that here at this perfectly located hotel. Booked via a "deals app" checking in was easy and the room was perfect! Until I took a shower and the handle fell off. I did report it to the staff. There is an elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floors, soda machine and Ice also available. It was a bit noisy with trucks and vehicles, but given where you are, it's a busy street area.

Very low marks for cleanliness, safety or value. It's close to the conference center (the only positive), but be aware this is a very very basic motel style place and pretty dingy. Guys at the desk try to be as helpful as they can, but the overall quality of the place was low. Seems to charge over $400 on conference nights which is scandalous.

No frills here, but the location was great for work downtown. The room was clean, the shower water not quite hot or strong enough, the staff friendly and mostly helpful - there was a little mix up with how the room was paid - but it was easily remedied. I'd come back again.
