In process of becoming a Four Points by Sheraton. Rooms are nice and large. They are very clean. Our room was nice and quiet. The location is very good. Front desk staff were helpful and fast. We didn't get a chance to eat in the restaurant, so cant speak to that. All around a great experience.

The Moorpark will soon become the Four Points Cupertino. The facility and staff are transitioning the property to the Starwood model. That said, I think the property is much nicer than the vast majority of Four Points (Lifetime Gold Level with SPG). The room (306) was very quiet and the bed super comfortable. The desk staff were friendly and helpful.... More

Hotel was not as advertised based on what I read in the reviews from several months back. There were no cookies or boutique elements: the hotel was quite plain and staff didn't seem to be on top of things. As an SPG Platinum I had to nudge them along on the procedures for Platinum. They still have not given me... More

i have stayed here many times and have always been happy to do so. i find it very comfortable for business travel. i believe it has just been sold though and for that reason it seems to be in a somewhat "between" state. some of the touches i liked when it was a joie de vivre property are gone, i.e.... (+) Service is good and the staff wonderful! Decoration is simple and beautiful. The hotel is clean but the building needs renovation and repair. I stayed there 23 days and felt like home in a certain way. (-) Noisy old AC No real Brakfast the weekends Still waiting for the deposit amount, though (it's been 12 days that I left... More

I stayed three night at Moorpark and wasn't super impressed. It started out with nobody being at the reception when we arrived. We waited a few minutes but nobody showed up. We resorted to going to the hotel bar and asking if we could check in.... The hotel is fine, but incredibly drab. The rooms are large, but somewhat awkwardly... More

From the moment we walked in, we fell in love with the Moorpark and the wonderful staff. I must mention Charles by name because he was just so welcoming and friendly and helpful. We arrived a little early but were checked in immediately and given a wonderful room. The decor of the hotel is really lovely and warm. We were... More

Housekeeping was inconsistent. Sometimes you get three towels, sometimes two. A rag was left in my room by mistake. Front desk staff could not settle payment correctly during the stay and even during checkout so the wrong card was charged. Room size was great. Swimming pool was small and not heated though it was supposed to be.

Hello Dand3lion, Thank you for taking the time to post a review on TripAdvisor! I want to thank you for staying with us while we are transitioning to a Starwood hotel. Some of the changes like removing extra sets of towels in our single (King) occupied rooms can and will impact our current guests and I am sorry for this.... More

Some "boutique" hotels try hard to be eclectic (aka "weird") and in doing so replace service and amenities with glitz and glamour ... two things I never need when sleeping someplace on the road. I've stayed at boutiques in NYC and SF (once each) , but have returned to The Moorpark a half dozen times when they have room .... More

Friends and I wanted to have a guys night out where we could relax, drink, and have a good time without disturbing the families at home. We decided to take advantage of the Moorpark's great weekend rates, billiards table, and pool cabanas. We had five rooms between us and I must say the club rooms are where you want to... More
