The idea behind this Marriott property is to cater to long term stays. Our room was smaller than the average hotel room. Some aspect of the design was good. The closet was good. The small kitchen was compact but worked. The large laundry was nice. We didn't like the tv bolted to a table. Couldn't see it in bed. The... More

We had a one bedroom suite. We were assigned a handicapped room even though I did not reserve one and I was told that the hotel was full and I could or be moved. There were two telephones in the room but only one worked. The living room was large but the bedroom was tiny. The bed was comfortable. The... More

$259/night for a lower end Marriott property is hard to swallow -- but this is in Silicon Valley where there are precious few, if any great, affordable options. This property, however... SHINES! The front desk staff told me it had been remodeled in the past year, and it shows. Everything appears to be brand new. I didn't need/use the kitchenette,... More

This review is being written 12/25/2014 for the TownePlace Suites San Jose Cupertino. This is a newer property with a modern design. The lobby is tiny (no furniture for groups to congregate). The rooms are well-suited for business travel (work desk with free wired and wireless Internet) and for families or extended stays (roomy, full kitchens). Note that breakfast here... More

I stayed here when I was travelling with work. It was a great place to stay and ideally placed to visit many places. More importantly, it was a safe and comfortable hotel. There was a complementary breakfast each morning and the staff were always very helpful. The only thing not quite to my taste were the pictures on the walls

Imagine my surprise to walk into what Priceline designates as a two star property and feel like it should be a five star property. Granted we're not talking the Ritz Carlton but with respect to similar properties this one's a standout. I really liked the lobby area; the blocks of color and the modern-ish feel was fresh and inviting. Elizabeth... More

We were in town for a MLS (soccer) game), and found this place to stay with our son. It was a great location, just off the freeway, but in a quiet area of town. The rooms were spacious and clean, and had a great, fully stocked kitchenette. The breakfast options were pretty limited, but at least were healthier than most... More

Second time I stayed in a Towneplace Suites and this one had a small pool but no place to sit down for breakfast. I had to take the breakfast with me to my room or eat it standing in the small lobby. Choice for breakfast is rather limited but enough for me. Room is nice and includes a kitchen and... More

I was in town for a family celebration with my 2 small children for 3 nights in August. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that had a small kitchen and one bathroom. When I travel with my children I try to stay in a hotel with a kitchenette because eating one meal in the room is often healthier, tastier,... More

We've booked in for 2 weeks, almost everyday for the first week, we've to go to the reception to get kitchen towels, toilet roll, towels etc as the housekeeping just came in, took the garbage out, sometimes change of towels, if you are lucky. According to the hotel policy, on the 6th day ( depending on yr stay) they're supposed... More
