The staff is very helpful and the property is beautiful. It is a little out of the way but well worth it. Breakfast in the morning is Awesome!!! Great choices along with superb omelets. The rooms are quiet and the beds and linens have been updated recently.

I have visited San Jose for years, and have just stayed here for the first time. The comfort level was extremely high, the quaity of all other aspects was top shelf, the price was better than competative. This far exceeds the others, I will be back for all future visits!

Lovely grounds and the main house has wonderful historic details that have been preserved, like marble floors and wood panelling. The rooms vary from what we could tell. Those in the mansion are different from those in the newer sections. Stayed in a newer room and it had all the amenitites you expect.
